Queen Bee's Cafe — Restaurant in The Borough District of Clonmel

We eat here 5 days a week,, we just love this quilaty food, very well presented and very tasty ,food just bloody great and gotten to know the staff make you smile and have great sence of humour . Meals very reasonably priced,, i used to spend my money in tesco and cook.which i hate and im crap,, so now i go to a warm top class restrount. I just love love quimbys.. im eating healthier now with there tasty salads to. And a l diferent special and soup every day,,im been to a lot off resrounts in clonmel and the place takes beating in every way,, ps if you like cod ,,you have to try there cod in beer batter (special) OH MY COD .......

Arrived in Clonmel early for the late great Carrie Achenson's Funeral... Asked two local gentlemen for recommended breakfast venue and they pointed to Queen Bee. On arrival they assembled a table to accomodate our large number. We ordered the Mini Breakfast...scones, breads.... Coffees of all discriptions....with a time frame of 30 minutes to be out for Carrie's final journey. We were rapidly served the most delicious breakfast.... The best potato cakes we've had in a long time...beautiful bacon and eggs and great brown bread by a team of great women!!!! Lovely food, salads especially are very varied and surprisingly filling, tasty chips too, everything fresh and wholesome Good service, cosy atmosphere and very clean, tidy and well decorated, toilets likewise. Unhurried so time to enjoy a meal or just meeting a friend for coffee. Queues do form but well worth the wait and can disappear as quickly as they appear mostly at lunchtimes.
