Booked this restaurant via Groupon, as you can see the terms and conditions state 7 days a week, rang restaurant and booked in for Saturday, mentioned I had a voucher and he said he can’t accept this and it’s only valid for Wednesday and Thursday and refused to take me in! Extremely rude staff member said he only makes 6 euro from this voucher so can’t do it on the weekends, disgraceful! And then just hung up on me! Would not go near this place!!

In response the laughable reply below, you told me to book through groupon as you knew the only days eligible to be booked were Wednesday and Thursday, hence why I called you directly. You claim you changed your terms and conditions with groupon however as everyone here can see from the picture I uploaded of the voucher this was not the case when I got the voucher, voucher was purchased on the basis it would be accepted at weekends and terms and conditions were valid at time of sale. You mentioned on the phone call you were not accepting this voucher on a Saturday not as you only made €6 from this deal and wanted to save your reservations for paying customers!

Any decent business owner would have honoured the voucher as when I purchased it it was valid for Saturday evenings! Instead you said it was nothing to do with you and offered me 0 help! The second I mentioned groupon you also knew exactly what I was referring to so I wonder how many other people were ripped off like this!

Also just a FYI after speaking with groupon they did not seem aware of anything you said in terms of changing dates and were very surprised you refused me service!

Again VERY rude, VERY unprofessional and rather than honour the voucher like a decent honest business you refused to save space for paying customers! Would not recommend this...

Went with a voucher yesterday and I was left two hours waiting for my meal(a chicken kebab and massaf chicken)the restaurant was completely empty. Two couples who got there after and were served starters and mains before me. A family got in for a take away and came back half an hour later and the food was ready. One hour and a half later they sent me a hummus thing which shows they knew I was waiting for nearly two hours. When it hit two hours I checked my bus times and needed to leave or I'd have to wait another hour so I asked the food for takeaway away and they handed me the food in FIVE MINUTES. No apologies, nothing. Food wasn't good when I got home. They only did this because I had a voucher and didn't ask for anything extra. Absolutely disgusting behaviour leaving someone waiting two hours for a chicken kebab. Really looking forward to hearing their excuse. This up there was my review on TripAdvisor, the owner/chef called me after 9pm to confront me on my very truthful review to say it was a misunderstanding and never even said sorry. I told him to answer on TripAdvisor and all he said was lies. The waitress 100% knew I was there by myself. I'm even more sure it was because of the voucher. This man seems unhinged.. DO NOT CALL PEOPLE TO NOT EVEN SAY SORRY ABOUT LEAVING THEM WAITING FOR TWO HOURS WITH RIDICULOUS EXCUSES. GET A LIFE AND START TREATING PEOPLE BETTER. It doesn't matter I was there before the time, the waitress took me in and said I could ask for the food already as previously mentioned, the restaurant was...

Entered the restaurant and was faced with emptiness. A reception area and desk with nobody. In the corner there were stairs. As i walked up there was a sign that stated to check in at reception?! Anyhow we were seated. Ordered two juices, asked for a straw was told they don't do straws. The decorations is very old and very dark which makes it so hard to see. The food took an extremley long time to which i asked the waitress how long till the food arrived and she said 2 minutes. 5 minutes later another member of staff said 'due to technical difficulties our food would take 5 to 10 minutes more.' not everything was fresh but due to being so hungry we ate. I had ordered a chicken shish off the childrens menu section and my child was served her food with a metal skewer. There was a very professional waitress who was being micromanaged by another waiter who appeared to be putting her down infront of customers that she was so professionally seating and serving. He had no problem in humiliating her infront of customers. This was my first time in Drogheda and i'll certainly be doing more research on where to eat if i were ever to visit...

Somewhere I've wanted to go for a long time and finally we got to experience Aisha's. A warm welcome awaits you and a diverse menu with a variety of choices. Bring your own wine or beer and there is no charge for corkage, or buy minerals there. We chose all from the Lebanese selection and it as excellent, as was the home made cheesecake and coffee, highly recommended and it was especially nice when the chef came out later in the evening to say hello to his guests and ask how their meal was. We will be back! Was too hungry to take photos of the starters will do next time.
