Country Kitchen — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Carlow

When we pointed out that the chicken in the curry was pink the Waitress that took the order came to the table said she was nice to serve us and that the chicken was cooked , I said it could be the type of chicken but it is pure pink , she offer to show me the tempature on a thermometer, she then just took the whole plate of food no offer of replacement or refund the service was seriously lacking and made us decide never to frequent the establishment again , the restaurant has gone very down hill in the last few months, it used to be lovely but you don't pay to be...

Was overcharged , had to ask for a receipt which wasn't itemised. Queried the cost . First told it was right then they said they made a mistake, returned two euros. This still wasn't correct they maintain they charge extra for custard on two deserts. When pointed out the board stated crusted was included after a few minutes two more euro was returned. Tis poor overall. While the staff are friendly & helpful the food is very poor. The restaurant itself was a bit cold as was the breakfast. Can't understand why. Portions a bit mingy too, to say the least and the coffee wad not great at all. And this for a €10.95 breakfast. I...
