I went in with my friend today. As my friend is a vegetarian, she wanted to taste Indian vegetarian food. Being honest to you was very disappointed by the main course given. Only a pilau rice(white rice with herbs)!! There was no Biryani?? There was no vegetarian dishes as well, being an Indian restaurant one must offer Vegetarian dishes - on being asked for one the staff managed to get one for us which was too hot and we could not eat it.
€11.50 per person for a buffet with no desserts being offered and also the non vegetarian dishes taste the same! Chicken and mutton all have the same gravy and curry no distinction at all? If you are offering a buffet please offer it properly else do not do it all. Would not recommend to anybody - this is not an indian restaurant as it states. Was totally unhappy with what was offered.
Also nobody is being asked for their covid certs?? So I take it anybody who comes in can have food just like the old times- what's the point of lockdown and being vaccinated?? Comple mess- organised chaos with no moral responsibility towards society and no eticasy towards the dishes...

I kept wondering why they were not mentioning the cold and at least apologising for the heating, which must be broken, surely!? No, it was not broken they just held off until about 8.30pm to switch on heating. There was an older group of 4 with heavy coats on during their meal and they looked miserable. Just 10 minutes before they left the heating came on. Just outrageous. Took 45 mins to get basic starter, and an hour and half to get main our course. Place wasn't even half full. I got a vegetarian starter which I'm pretty sure had a fish sauce in it. Main meal was cold. I'm just sorry I didn't leave when...
Read moreWe used to come here years ago and loved it. Admittedly it’s been about 10 years since. But we read Shapla won Indian Restaurant of the year in Ireland. Arrived tonight, had lovely starters, no complaints. Waited ages, probably 45-50 minutes for our main course. We said to each other, it’s probably slow as they are making it fresh. I dipped into my Chicken Vindaloo and it was like cold. Obviously they didn’t microwave it long enough and put us off completely. I thought they made the dishes fresh. Major disappointment. We left only paying for the wine and starters (meat samosa was actually very nice). Not sure...
