Crave — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Navan

Phoned twice but didn't get an answer. They rang back afterwards and took our booking for 2. When we arrived there was nobody in front of house. After a few minutes standing we decided to seat ourselves as there was plenty of vacant tables for 2. Eventually a staff member came to us and asked us were we happy with our table and we said yes. She departed and did not supply a menu or ask about drinks. A group of 6 came in after that and tables had to be rearranged to accommodate these. Another couple came in and were shown to thier table. Menus, drinks etc. were supplied to these two tables, we still hadn't been attended to. Eventually we were offered menus and drinks and food served, we opted for the 2 course early bird. Food was good overall, my wife's was lovely, my beef was tough in the Asian stir fry. We declined the offer to have a desert but had a 2nd drink each. Shortly after the bill arrived on the table by a young staff member who hadn't previously served us, thought this was odd but ok. We continued to finish our drinks but about half way through we were asked to pay our bill as the table was needed shortly, not sure why we were asked if we wanted deserts/tea/coffee if the table was needed. We had this discussion with the manager and also pointed out that we were helping to support our local hospitality industry as we have done over many years. We found that it was quite rude to demand money prior to us finishing our drinks. It didn't seem true that the table was needed in a hurry as the restaurant had many empty tables and no customers arriving. Really disappointed as we've been going there for many years, it's not a fast food cafe. We felt they just wanted us out as we had finished...

A Night to Remember at Crave, Navan

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Crave in Navan last night for our staff summer party and to celebrate some special staff retirements — and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

From the moment we arrived, the setting was beautiful and welcoming, ideal for a large gathering like ours (we were a party of 30). The staff were incredibly attentive throughout the night — nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism.

A particular highlight for us was how well the kitchen caters to coeliac needs. It’s not easy to find a restaurant that takes dietary requirements seriously, but Crave has an excellent setup and made those with gluten intolerances feel completely at ease.

The food was exceptional — diverse, full of flavour, and very reasonably priced. It’s rare to see such consistency across a large group, but every single person came away raving about their meal. Whether it was starters, mains, or desserts, the quality was top-notch.

And the cocktails? Incredible. Creative, delicious, and beautifully presented — they really added to the celebratory atmosphere.

It’s not often that everyone leaves a venue this happy, but Crave delivered on every front. We’re already looking for excuses to return. Highly...

Would have been nice to have at least taste the food before having to write a review but upon entering the restaurant we were seated by a very polite waitress however this is where the nice expieriece ended a middle aged lady dressed differently to the waitresses (so I assume management) obviously took exception to us being seated and having looked us up and down in rather derogatory manner it became apparent that we were not being seen as priority having perused the menu for 6 to 7 mind before finally deciding to set the menus on the table in hope of catching the waitresses eye but to no avail 10 minutes passed and not even an attempt to take a drink order at this point we decided to leave.
