Earl's Kitchen — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Navan

I was looking forward to having something to eat here yesterday because I had been told it was lovely, however having looked at the menu board the staff member I thought would take my order looked at me and then turned away to speak to another staff member. I couldn't believe that I had been blanked and went back to the table where my partner was sitting and told him I felt like I was invisible, then a member of staff called him from behind the counter to ask what he wanted to order. Personally I wanted to leave and go elsewhere for something to eat. My partner placed his order and I also had a coffee rather than sit watching him eat. The time we went in to Earls Kitchen was 3.25pm and there were two other patrons and I think that staff may have been getting ready to close, perhaps they should close the doors at 3.00pm when the lunch rush is over, at least potential customers would not think they might get served and therefore not be disappointed by staff...

I called on Saturday looking for a vegetarian salad lunch . It was the tastiest food I ever had in Navan. The chef seemed to take pride in the food and had tasted it. The nut roast was moist and full of taste and the salads dressed in a good way and not oversauced to death. The brown bread was the best of all time. The food was perfection and it was even better than Cornucopia. The lady who served me was personable and was attentive and anxious to please. Navan should be proud of the food and service in Earl's Kitchen. The competition in Navan need to check this out it is paving the way to perfection. They also cater for red meat eaters. Sandra and Gill made our family get together and evening to remember. We had the usual 8 to 80 crowd with every dietary requirement under the sun. The Gluten free chocolate biscuit cake was the best ever, the mango and passion fruit mousse was to die for and they even brought us soup and salads for the next day's lunch.
