Magic wok — Restaurant in Waterford

From my experience, usually from simple wok takeaways you really do get bad quality food however, it was my first time ordering from Magic Wok and I have to say I'm really satisfied with what I got. My Noodle box was delicious and didn't had that awful 'fried pan' flavor, there was a good amount of crispy veg, the flavour was amazing and I will be back for more! The only bad thing is that I didn't tried it out earlier and the place is literally across from my house. The staff are very nice and they don't make you feel like your bothering them when you come in through the door which personally I really hate about customer service. Fairly expensive compared to other takeaways. Food was cooked fast which was nice, got a 3 in 1 with sweet and sour sauce (€6.50). Portion of sauce was fab and food came in a long tray which I ate in the shop but I have never in my life got such severe food poisoning. I was puking the entire night as a result. Sauce was weirdly thick and gloopy which caught me off guard, taste was a bit weird but I was starving and thought nothing of it. Still have not slept due to the food poisoning. Tried this place for my first ever spice bag. €19, enough food for two, no red or green peppers, very little onion and red chilli. Fried rice was ok. The chicken was tough and overcooked.
