Ruby Lounge + kitchen & Monaco Tom's Bar — Restaurant in Waterford

A Wonderful Return to Ruby's This was my first visit to the venue since its reopening as Ruby's. It was previously known as the Uluru, a name that didn't enjoy very good public reviews. The new name, Ruby's, is a name to the well-known city center nightclub that once held the same name.

Upon arrival, a friendly member of staff greeted us and immediately provided menus for our group. The service was rapid and prompt. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and when it arrived, it was piping hot, straight from the kitchen. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and quite relaxing.

My group and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the venue, and we've already decided to return. As a regular food reviewer, I never mince words when describing my experiences. I can confidently say that Ruby's is doing everything right! I would place it at the high end of worthwhile restaurant bars to visit with friends and family. You can be assured you won't be disappointed; you'll indulge in a fantastic, varied menu with food prepared to a high standard. Every forkful will tantalise your senses and leave you...

Lovley place. Nice choice on the menu. And the lady that took my order was very friendly. Unfortunately the lady who was at the till was not as nice she ignored me when i said hello and just said the price of my meal and that was that. And i waited for my friend to pay for hers and the lady couldn't of been nicer so it wad a strange situation feeling like i had done something wrong to the lady. Myself and my husband were staying overnight nearby and called in last Monday evening (27th February) for food and by God what a feast😊 not only were the staff very attentive but you can tell that they enjoy working there...we called in again the following morning and breakfast was lovely also. Everything very reasonably priced and next time we are passing through we will MOST DEFINITELY call in again.
