בראסרי 18 — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

Using the name Brasserie comes with a promise and also am obligation, and that didn't come true here, unfortunately. To start with, they don't have any other juice besides squeezed orange - not even bottled. Surprising. The Shakshuka came with a very old dried up and burned Jerusalem's bagel. Horrible. See photo. I asked one simple bread slice instead. They brought a whole basket and butter - but after almost 10 minutes, when we decided to leave and asked for the check. The other dish - scrambled salmon - came with a spelt bread slice and it tasted and felt old as well. Many free waitresses but slow service. I think the kitchen is the problem. Prices are too high. A Café that doesn't use the freshest bread every day should be banned or at least sell only coffee,...

Went to the new location in Gan Hashmal in Tel Aviv.

The interior is simple and there is surely a problem with the AC, it's either to warm, or too "windy". Also the door when opened pushes warm air inside.

ביקורת למסעדה – ציון 7/10

שירות ואווירה: המסעדה משדרת הקפדה וסטנדרט גבוה מבחינת חוויית האירוח. המוזיקה הנעימה, התאורה המדויקת, העיצוב האסתטי, המפות על השולחנות ואפילו נימת הדיבור של המלצרים – כולם משתלבים ליצירת אווירה מוקפדת ונעימה מאוד. הצוות מקצועי, אדיב וקשוב.

סידור הישיבה: למרות שהמקום עצמו גדול ומציע מגוון אפשרויות ישיבה, ניכר כי לעיתים השולחנות קצת בצפיפות מיותרת, גם כאשר יש אזורים פנויים יותר. הדבר יוצר תחושת עומס שלא מחויבת המציאות וניתן היה לרווח את הסועדים באופן נעים יותר.

האוכל: החלק הפחות מוצלח בביקור היה האוכל. אמנם כל חומרי הגלם טריים, והשילובים הקלאסיים עובדים, אך התוצאה הסופית הייתה פשוטה למדי – ללא טוויסט, ללא רובד מעניין או טעם שנשאר בזיכרון. מנות בראנצ׳ שהן כולן פרוסת לחם עם ביצה ותוספות, במחיר שמגרד את ה-80 ש"ח, הרגישו לא מאוזנות: עשירות בשומן אך חסרות אלמנטים מרעננים כמו ירק טרי או צבע על הצלחת. המלצרים אפילו רומזים ומציעים להזמין סלט ירקות לאמצע השולחן ב-70 שח נוספים. שזה נראה טיפה מאולץ ומתוכנן.

ההגשה מדויקת, אך התחושה הכללית היא של פספוס – מנה שהיא "בסדר", אבל לא מספקת את הציפייה ממקום שמתיימר
