A very cute and super authentic Thai restaurant. Some people find it too hardcore due to its location (right in front of a butcher shop, including all the meat & chicken smells), and super authentic Thai food that's not adjusted to the Israeli palate like most of the Thai restaurants you can find in Tel Aviv, but I found it quite charming in its own way.
We were a couple that came for lunch and wanted to try several dishes and not just their famous soups, so we ordered the sweet corn & shrimp som tam salad which was super delicious and just the right amount of spicy IMO, the pomelo salad which is basically my favorite Thai salad and it was also amazing. For hot dishes we ordered the duck wontons, that came submerged in a deep beef stock with some leafy greens, and lastly we ordered the shrimp tom yum soup which was super flavorful and very tasty.
To conclude, if you're looking for a more authentic Thai experience, this is a great option, but keep in mind that this includes not just the food but the entire vibe of the restaurant, it's locations, the smells around it as well as the seating experience itself (sitting on plastic tools with no backrest, just like...
Read moreAfter reading some raving reviews we decided to go and check the place ourselves. We ordered the papaya salad (the vegan version). Salad was very good but quite hot so if you're not too kean on spices ask first. Chicken dumplings (duck broth) were just ok, but we did eat them only after a few min to be fair. Main courses were very good (one with shrimp - Tom Yam gong, and the other was vegan). For those who love spicy, add some of the chili jam and you'll see god :) Out main issue was with the sanitation. Place didnt look clean enough. Its summer, hot and corona is still here so they really need to...

The main item on the menu is Kwaytiew, rice noodles, protein and vegetables served in a bowl, topped with hot fish stock. Similar to Raman but with a more noticeable presence of fish sauce.
The experience I had when visiting Giveret Kwaytiew was exceptional, this place earned their worthy...
