Easily the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with complimentary wine and personally shown to our room, which was perfect for the two of us. The space was comfortably sized, with a large wardrobe, double bed, en-suite bathroom, fridge, and a TV with Netflix — ideal for a cosy evening after a long day of exploring (and trust me, you’ll be doing plenty of walking!). The free breakfast each morning was a solid 10/10 — tailored to your preferences, whether you fancy something sweet, savoury, or a mix of both.

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, stretching across the distant Tyrrhenian Sea, and there’s a charming garden with a seating area — plus the friendliest cat to keep you company. The location is also excellent: just a 5-minute walk to a bus stop with regular services to Amalfi (about 25 minutes away). We also highly recommend hiking the Path of the Gods for unforgettable views from Amalfi to Positano — the starting point is only around a 20-minute walk from the hotel, passing through the quaint high street of Bomerano.

Although Antichi Orti del Sole is rated as a 3-star hotel, in our experience it outshines many...

Where to start? This place is absolutely amazing, a hidden gem! The view, house, service, food, everything is of best quality. 💎

As a tourist I felt we got all of the local specialities presented and served in one place. Would absolutely recommend going here for a dinner if you're in the area. The prices are really friendly as well.

If you're a tourist looking for a place to stay while hiking the beautiful mountains in the area or going on adventures along the Amalfi coast this is the perfect place for you! It certainly was for us!

The staff were all very friendly, service minded and patient and the room was modern and clean.

This place made our Italy holiday unforgettable, and of all the places we stayed this was by far the best....

We honestly still left our hearts at Orti del Sole. This beautiful family-run place, cared for by Teresa, Luigi, and their children, gave us not just a stay—but a heartfelt experience. We had the pleasure of spending four days here, and they truly made it feel like a home away from home.

From breakfast to lunch and dinner, every meal was lovingly prepared to our preferences and executed perfectly. Their warmth and attention to detail were unmatched—this was easily the most memorable and genuine hospitality we experienced during our entire Europe trip.

Orti del Sole is tucked away from the busy crowds, and the peacefulness here more than makes up for the distance. If you’re looking for something real, heartfelt, and...
