This was undoubtedly the most overpriced dining experience I've ever had, and to put it bluntly, it felt like a complete scam. It was shockingly expensive, considering that their so-called 'Four course tasting menu' amounted to just 2 dishes for a staggering EUR 135, which included a solitary glass of Barolo. To call a mere spoonful of cheese an opening course and a plain muffin with vanilla ice cream a part of their 'tasting menu' is laughable. While I will admit that the artichoke souffle with white truffle and the pasta with white truffle were enjoyable, the exorbitant cost is unjustifiable when you're only served in effect two dishes, in a restaurant with a 'nothing special' interior and ok but basic service. The restaurant's name sets certain expectations, which were certainly not met. No truffles at all, and barely any fish. An €18 salad turned out to be a couple of lettuce leaves with tiny bits of raw zucchini. Mushroom risotto with NO truffle in a restaurant that is called pesce e TARTUFO.
