I’ll break this into two reviews.
First service 5/5 - waitress was friendly and helpful. She spoke English to us as best as possible. She checked on us a couple times and brought extra ketchup. Super nice and friendly not much else to say. 5/5
Food - daughter ordered a burger (without the egg) we ordered Medium Well, which should be very little pink. It came very red and I’d say more medium raw. It tasted the best probably because the bacon added the salt the meat needed. The serving size was very large, and the burger bun in general was really thick and as a personal preference should be less bread as it overwhelms the burger. She also got fries instead of potatoes. The fries were very good. All in all hers was the best. The meat itself needed some more seasoning but the bacon did help.
I ordered the sheep burger (as recommended by waitress) the same comment above. Very large portions and the bread overtakes the burger. With a thinner or even fluffy bread it would be better. The meat was extremely undercooked pretty much 1 minute on each side. I had to send it back because it was not cooked well. I’m glad that it was quickly fixed and returned (and glad they didn’t waste it like in the US). Upon getting it back the burger had a strong flavor of the cheese but very little of anything else. The meat needed some seasoning even salt and pepper would do. The tomatoes on the burger were good. I had to take large chunks of the bread off to be able to eat it. Otherwise it was all break and cheese flavor. The potatoes were also undercooked being hard in the middle and burnt on outside or fried nicely on outside. I didn’t finish them. Overall I think this was my least favorite.
Wife ordered the vegan burger (without the bun) the bun came on the side sliced up but we didn’t touch it. display was nice and this was also some well. She really enjoyed the salad with avocado. The vegan patty (sweet potatoes, rice and bean) was cooked well and had an ok flavor. It also needed some seasoning even some salt would have benefited it. The potatoes were the same as mine undercooked in the middle. This was a decent burger.
The overall meal is being rated 3/5 due to lack of seasoning, bun size being too much, and the undercooked potatoes. It would probably be rated less due to just flavor for value but the prices here were very reasonable. If it was more expensive it would receive less stars.
Photos looked very appealing so I include them. I’d they make small changes it could be a very good meal. Maybe stick with French fries vs potatoes. Smaller bun and add some salt...
