Our dinner at MOS Restaurant was truly unforgettable. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the high-quality dishes on the menu. The stunning sea view overlooking Capo Caccia adds an extra layer of charm, making it the ideal setting for a relaxing and memorable meal.

The variety of offerings is impressive, featuring everything from fresh seafood to authentic Sardinian specialties. The fregula paella with cuttlefish ragout and the grilled tuna with seasonal vegetables were standouts, brimming with flavors that beautifully represent the region. The burrata salad with tomatoes and peaches was a refreshing and delicious starter, while the chocolate mousse with citrus compote provided the perfect sweet ending.

What truly sets MOS apart is the attention to detail and commitment to quality. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared with fresh, often locally sourced ingredients, ensuring an authentic taste of Sardinia. The chef's expertise shines through every dish, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and creativity. The wine selection, including local Vermentino and Cannonau, perfectly complements the meal, elevating the dining experience.

The service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They provided thoughtful recommendations and took the time to explain each dish, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, MOS Restaurant is a must-visit in Alghero for anyone seeking to experience the best of Sardinian cuisine with a modern twist, while taking in the breathtaking panoramic view of...

The restaurant has a cozy ambiance and the food was good, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.

We ordered the "fried spineless fish and shrimps with garlic sauce," but received a dish dominated by calamari with only two shrimps (see picture below). Since we don't eat calamari, we left the dish almost untouched.

When we tried to address the issue with the waiter, he was rude and disrespectful, despite our respectful approach. He interrupted us repeatedly and abruptly left the table, saying "bye bye" while we were still explaining our concern. After we called him out on his behavior, he started shouting at us.

Another individual, who seemed to be the chef, came to speak with us. He was condescending, stating that "calamari is the same as fish" (though it is actually a mollusk) and "this is how it is in Sardinia."

In the end, another waitress intervened. She was very kind and understanding, and removed the dish from our bill in an attempt to mitigate the issue. We were hungry and wanted to eat shrimp though, so we left disappointed. The best approach would have been to properly listen to us in the beginning and bring us the correct dish (or...

We have been in this restaurant multiple times, and usually we just had drinks and left after that. But this year we decided to go for a dinner here as the restaurant has a nice view of the sea and lighthouse. It’s located on a hill, so the sitting can get uncomfortable at times. The staff (not the owners mind you) is extremely nice and helpful. The drinks are alright, you can tell they’re cheap, but it’s worth it for the view I guess. The food on the other hand was overpriced and as for the meals we recieved, definitely not fresh (and if they were fresh, Jesus take the wheel). The bread with sardines was soaked in oil to the point it dripped off my chin. It looked unappetizing and we didn’t even dare to order a second meal. We didn’t finish that starter, paid, and left to eat elsewhere. Needless to say we won’t come again. One star is for the waiters, second one is for the view. If you want to eat meals made from fresh ingredients, you can go literally anywhere else. I do not have the pictures because we...
