As a Restaurant owner from new york city, this has to be the best restaurant I have ever eating in, the building is from the 1500s the place ,the food ,the serviceis exceptional, the if I can give it 20 stars I would every bite is so flavorful every one that works is professional but not stuffy owners Pepino and Mina are wonderful warm people that make the experience even better which is hard to do, the place is cleaner than any place I have ever eaten in.If you are in Italy even in the north believe me there is so much to see and do in this town of altamura, you also have Matera near by where Passion of the christ was filmed ,I am sure there are other restaurants that are good but not anywhere close to this one ,needs to be on your list .ITS A MUST ! you will thank me ,they have a wine list happens to be one of the I have ever seen ,in little words If you like genuine hospitality. beyond awesome food, Great service and a very clean place.THIS IS HEAVEN FOR HEAVEN !Before you die this is a MUST ! I would move here just for this restaurant! I wonder if they are hiring? I would work just for the food ! And its extremely reasonably priced, they should get more for what they serve !...

When I told the waitress I felt cold, the A/C was turned off, and two minutes later it was turned on again. When I finished the pasta, someone took away my plate and then I was left alone. No one asked if I wanted coffee, dessert or something else. After 20 minutes I got up and...

It's a culinary destination that takes care of Altamura's cultural heritage and Apulian traditions, emphasizing seasonality and locally ingredients. The ambiance is cozy with distinct rooms and tables, ensuring a comfortable dining experience without feeling overcrowded. The cuisine in my opinion is exceptional, featuring appetizers like meat from local areas, along with pasta dishes like spaghetti with sponzale onions and oven-roasted cherry tomatoes, all complemented by speck.
The dessert selection is extensive, inviting guests to indulge in a variety of sweet treats from the menu. After the meal, guests can retreat to an intimate, sophisticated room upstairs to enjoy excellent cigars and a selection of liqueurs...
