unfortunately the classical age expositiom was in renovation. the prehistoric exhibition was large and interesting with a lot of explanations and 3D models to understand better the pieces at the exhibition. Still the contents were too technical with exceeding attention about stone instruments that is any difficult with a lot of names. Museum is affiliated with other museums in southern Italy; focused on interpretation and research on archeology, culture and natural wonders of the Alta Murgia region; karst topography dominates. Ho fatto una visita breve di circa 1 h in quanto prossimo all'orario di chiusura. Siamo partiti dal secondo piano in quanto ero interessato principalmente all'Uomo di Altamura. Tutto spiegato molto bene con l'aiuto di audiovisivi, pannelli etc. Bella la linea del tempo. Molto ben fatta la ricostruzione dell'uomo di altamura. Anche la ricostruzione di una sepltura molto ben fatta ma purtroppo relegata in un angolo buio. Belli i reperti preistorici trovati nel territorio. Il primo piano ha una mostra tematica sul pane dalle origini ai giorni nostri e reperti che risalgono l tempo. Teche molto curate. Una sola domanda sovviene: perché l'ingresso è gratis?
