Bar La Piazzetta di Agnese — Restaurant in Assisi

I was short changed. Ordered a cappuccino and a pastry total was 6 euro. I paid with a 20 euro note and the lady gave me 5 euro back. I noticed and told her that wasn't enough. She apologized took back the 5 euros and gave me a ten euro note. I tried to tell her again that still wasn't enough, but she insisted it was correct. She shorted me 4 euros. I don't speak Italian so maybe its my fault. Didn't want to argue anymore so I left. Definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully it was genuinely a mistake, but it was pretty easy math. Sad thing is that I went here under recommendation...

The main reason for the low review score is the terrible attitude of the woman working there. She acted like we were an inconvenience from the moment we arrived, and made it clear that our kids were not welcome.

Prices are exorbitant (€5 for a pastry, €5 for a coke), and she short changed us on top of that (and there is no itemised receipt given).

This place scammed us. I went to have breakfast with my friend and at the end the lady overcharged us basically twice what we were supposed to pay.
