Iki Ramen & Poke — Restaurant in Bari

I usually put much more focus on the taste of the food than other aspects. However, due to the very friendly service and special atmosphere, I have to give this ramen restaurant maximum stars. Now, when it comes to ramen, I have tasted several types in Japan and several other countries. This one is very good, it has a unique taste, yet, I liked other ones elsewhere better. Improvement points include: Serving ramen hot rather than warm Providing spicy even for non spicy broth Making beef more tender Providing an option for a non-digital menu and improving the user experience with the digital menu. Moreover, other restaurants would allow for choosing several types of noodles, several levels of spicy, several textures and types of broth.

My portion came with big pieces of beef and a rather big soup coup. The nudles texture was pleasantly chewy.

One ramen soup is about 12€ with options for add-ons. The portions are quite large. Service is charged...

Iki Ramen is definately one of the best asian food restaurants I have visited. The atmosphere is welcoming, the interior is decorated with posters from the best animes ever, the music completes the immersive experience into a true japanese style otaku restaurant and the food is excelent. I appreciate tremendously the fact that they have vegan and vegetarian options and that the traditional asian sweets like vapour bread, daifuku and sakura mochi are homemade and taste excelent. The ramen is amazing, rich and all the servings are really big.

I especially loved the small and cute maneki neko cats decorations, the fact that we received fortune cookies after every meal there or a coffee on the house and the amazing drawings made with chocolate souce on the plates near the desserts.
