This restaurant has a great location in the city center, but that's about it. We expected, as it is an "American" restaurant, that the staff will be able to speak English. We were wrong. When choosing the wine, the waitress immediately told us that there was no red wine, but we can try the rosé. We wanted to try some Italian wine, we thought only Italian wines are in offer, but we got some Portuguese wine. The waitress could not open the wine at first, which should be a basic skill for staff in restaurants or bar. Cutlery was prepared for two persons - since there were three of us, we expected that the waitress will prepare cutlery for my boyfriend as well, but we had to point this out and she wondered why we wanted more cutlery. Now to food: pizza buffalota was a disaster. I would say that it was a combination of soup and mozzarella on dough, since literally everything leaked from the pizza and two basil leafs on top were not enogh for one pizza . SPAGHETTI WESTERN I'm not going to judge because it's something traditional, but I don't think they should be as bad (and burnt) as they were. Cacio e Pepe spaghetti would need a little more salt but that's a detail. PANZEROTTO FRITTO CLASSICO wasn't that bad. Definitely the service should be improved and invested in staff training in foreign languages and wine opening, and if you write me that she was a new staff member, I've read in the reviews that there was a problem with...
Read moreTwo stars because the appetizer was good, everything else was horrible. The appetizer was deep fried camembert snacks, it was nice. For the main course we got two different burgers, the french fries were cold, the cheddar in the burger was stale and barely melted, the meat was dry, burnt and seemed to be cooked days ago and only barely heated up to put inside the burger. After telling the waitress that I'm not eating a barely warm meal that's not fresh, she returned with my slightly warmer burger which I can only assume spent a minute inside a microwave. We did not dare to order a dessert after this experience and left to find a gelato place. If possible, avoid this one. It seems promising at first, but there is no love or effort...
Read moreWe had some great burgers and fries- The “El Dorado” and “Butch Cassidy”. Loved our beers. - The Gilden Bier and Cisk. Both great. The staff was amazing. Very, very friendly. The brand on point. We will be back. Super appreciate that we came early and the chef still accommodated us. They even took our song requests. Tiramisu was good too. 😌
