Well, I have never been more glad that I read the comments only after I had been somewhere... my experience in this place was so different from what I've seen written here. We came in because we wanted to try some Italian dishes that we had not yet tried during our trip - lasagna and risotto. The two people behing the counter were super friendly and asked us if we would like to sit inside just by the entrance (where I would say it looked more like a café), or if we would like to see the other room - we did, and it was lovely! Super cozy with nice ambient music - even when other customers came in, we still felt comfortable and relaxed there. The food was great and came in good portions, leaving just a bit of space to share a dessert as well :) The service was great and everything was clean and nicely decorated. We left feeling satisfied and with more energy to explore...

An unforgettable night of fun! Botèp is an absolute gem in Bergamo! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric and incredibly welcoming. The star of the show, for me, was definitely the drinks—they were masterfully crafted, perfectly balanced, and delicious. Every cocktail we tried was a real treat. What makes this place truly special is the fantastic combination of excellent drinks and a lively karaoke scene. It's the perfect spot to let loose, sing your favorite songs, and create unforgettable memories with friends. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made sure everyone was having a great time. Quite possibly the most charming bar I’ve ever been to. You know when you just want to sink into the feeling of watching soccer and drinking at your buddy’s house who’s a little bit of a wild card but somehow knows how to dish out fried polenta and zucchini balls that make you think of mom and weep a little into your enthusiastically if inexpertly made Moscow mule?
