By chance I saw this fancy looking cafe/patisserie offered a lunch menu. Went in to check the prices and found a very affordable weekday lunch deal. We were 4 adults and ended up sharing 2 x lunch deals which gave us 4 primi dishes, 2 cakes, 2 waters 250ml, and 2 espressos for the very reasonable price of €44. No coperto but they still gave us a generous portion of bread. Polenta e Osei was a must-have for Bergamo visit. However, what makes Cavour stands out from the rest of patisseries - was the perfect balance of hazelnut buttercream, chocolate layering and rum. Not only does the flavor come in synergy (less sweet than the traditional - which is to my taste); the texture of different layers is also ‘Bellissimo’...
