A great little find, just around the corner from the train station. We had been to the Spa in San Pellagrino and was starving. Opens at 6pm and I'd read the reviews so knew it would ge good. It wasn't good, it was fantastic food. We didn't opt for Starters, but got served potatoes crisps with guacamole, which was delicious. We opted for the Ravioli, served with bacon. It was really good and the best homemade ravioli I've ever tasted. Followed by the panna cotta, which I shared. Two small little domes of delicious and light almond and a lovely caramel. Visited here with my sister about a month ago. Everyone there was so friendly and they spoke English well. Though I only bought some nonalcoholic drinks, I could enjoy them at low and reasonable price. Even when we asked bartenders if they sold freshly squeezed orange juice(actually, it was not on menu), they were willing to make it for us. When we were about to get out while holding on drinks, they gave a hand to open the door. Their hospitality was so impressive. This experience made me wanting to visit Bergamo and this store more again. I wish I had a chance to visit this place...

Che dire?! Il mio posto del cuore. Leggermente defilato rispetto al pieno centro (ma parliamo di 5' di passeggiata blanda da via XX settembre), il locale ha un esterno sulla strada e un bellissimo interno, davvero accogliente. Senz'altro ricca la selezione di vini, che offre sempre qualche chicca speciale o bottiglia di nicchia, c'è un menù per i calici e un altro per le bottiglie. E per chi non beve vino? No problem, ci sono tantissimi superalcolici e birre (oltre ovviamente a opzioni analcoliche). Il personale è semplicemente squisito (no, non ho ricevuto nessun compenso per questa recensione!): tutti gentili e disponibili, consigliano e spiegano le alternative e soprattutto chiedono sempre se ci sono necessità alimentari particolari (allergie, intolleranze o scelte etiche). Sono sempre stata accolta col sorriso e consigliata davvero bene rispetto ai gusti che ho espresso. Il calice è accompagnato da una bella selezione di stuzzichini (quadratini di frittata, fregola, tocchetti di formaggio, affettati, focaccia...) e si può anche cenare. Una specialità (trovata solo da loro!): i casoncelli fritti! Una bomba a mano, ma da provare almeno una volta nella vita. C'è anche un bel bagno (che ho trovato sempre pulitissimo e non è un elemento secondario, perché indice della cura con cui è tenuto il locale). I prezzi sono onesti, specie se raffrontati ai locali di Piazza Pontida o via XX. Fosse per me ci andrei tutte le sere, per cui vivamente...
