Some vegan options. On a monday morning there were 2 vegan options among the sweet things: one kind of cookies and a chocolate cake. I took none of these two because the cake contains alcohol (Rum) which doesn't disappear when cooked or baked. The cookies looked dry, maybe they aren't, I cannot tell. I took a focaccia with olive and tomatoes to go, it wasn't declared as vegan but the lady confirmed it. it tasted very good und fluff/soften. Absolute recommendation. The sweet things were declared with the complete list of ingredients each. More vegan options would be great (for example pain au chocolat, other cakes) and a declarion "vegan" on every item which is vegan. For italians it might be clear which products are always vegan, for people from other countries it is not, especially if some products (piadina) are usually not vegan and not vegetarian (because of "strutto" which means english "lard", german "Schmalz") except when they use a special dough on demand.

There were chairs/tables within the cafe and outside and the cafe was...

The reviews didn't lie, this place is great! They have so much variety of products, everything looks fresh and delicious. We went for the pistachio croissant but it was all finished around 12pm, so we just have to go again 😁 we had the chocolate cookie with pistachio cream and the croissant with cream and some coffee. In the cookie the chocolate taste was quite strong over the pistachio, and the croissants were really heavy, filled with a lot of nice cream. The staff is also nice and they can explain ingredients in English. They also have a nice clean toilet you can use. And for lunch there was rice with salmon, soups, and more...

The worse place I grabbed a coffee in Italy. By mistake I paid a "latte" instead of "latte macchiato" as I was paying for my friend who went to toilet. The son of the owner shouted In front of all clients to me as I was a thief or not paying at all! The difference was 0,70 euro.. which I asked immediately to pay, however he continued to be extremely rude ! This is definitely not the way to speak to customers. I will never return to...

Nothing short of amazing. Lovely little bakery with a good variety of bread and pastries. Some of the best coffee we’ve had in Italy as well, all served with a smile by the hospitable staff. No wonder Un Chicco became our favourite breakfast spot while staying in Bologna. It’s a small but quite popular place, so be prepared for a little waiting time regardless of whether you’re sitting in or taking out - but it is definitely worth the wait.

Best coffee in town, beautiful bread, and fast service! We had cappuccino, ham and mozzarella sandwich, and olive foccacia. They were so fresh and tasty. Coffee was creamy and silky smooth. They were so good we got another. Coffee didn't taste burned at all. The owner clearly looks after the machine really well. Very professional. Very small and cute bakery. Full of local residents. We'll definitely come again.
