A fantastic little place, just far enough out of the city centre to feel secluded from the tourist crowds. The small menu is filled with great produce and takes some influence from the local area (great focaccia, mortadella on a plate to start) while featuring real Sicilian food. Service is excellent; very accommodating, friendly, with wait staff obviously passionate about the food they are serving - something that doesn't happen often. The Vegetarian lasagne was carefully made by a skilled chef, and tasted amazing. Beef tartare was simple but showcased the beef very well. Also, the best cannoli you will eat, with fresh...

La Fastuchera is a total gem! It became our local while we were visiting Bologna, sitting just down the road from our accomodation I think we popped in at least once a day while we were there. Our group felt warmly welcomed by the restaurant’s owner (Alexandria?) who introduced us to local and Sicilian wines/beers, shared some excellent banter and delighted us with their absolutely delicious Sicilian dishes. A total highlight of our...

Basta aggiungere qualche buon amicizia e l'atmosfera calda vi coccolerà, facendovi sentire come a casa vostra. Il servizio è ottimo. Cortese e cordiale.

We had an amazing dinner at "La Fastuchera"!! It's sicilian cuisine, with many fish based specialties! We tried several of their dishes, and we liked everything, especially the "involtini di pesce spada" (swordfish) and the caponata! Cherry on the top the "canollini" desserts which were mouthwatering, even in sicily you can't easily find such quality! If you haven't yet, you should definitely try this hidden gem!
