Punjab Food — Restaurant in Bologna

I came across this restaurant while on the bus from Bologna airport to Bologna train station, as it is very near the train station.

I went for an enormous and delicious kebab for €5.

As I was in a rush for the train I picked up the kebab, dropped €5 on the counter, went to leave - and saw the owner looking quizzically at me. I went back and he presented me with a cool can of Coke from the fridge, as the €5 also automatically included a drink although that wasn't specified in the price list!

Just a pity I was in such a hurry and couldn't have sat in and gone for Punjabi...

My son and I dined in the quantity was okay,quality was poor, taste was just hot pepper and nothing else,I actually chewed some cloves of pepper that was added!😡 Some sort of sauce was like water, bony, tiny parts of chicken was added - so I can't say that I ate meat. My son visited the washroom and quickly told me, "Mum,don't go,you can't eat later".....you guys can just imagine! The young guy who works with the dad is very courteous and sociable. I passed by this morning, from the outside the dishes cooked back to the window were not visible. I back down, they looked so fresh and well done that I wondered if it was an Indian restaurant. The guy, absolutely kind and polite, then explained to me the difference between Pakistani and Indian recipes. He prepared exactly what I asked for, with extreme education. I ate from God, really. I promised I'd come back to tell, but in the meantime I'm doing it from here. I am VERY boring, careful and hard to please. Note 10 for everything. Polo and rice, chicken and potatoes, falafel, all a delight. Well done and congratulations.

Sono passata davanti stamane, da fuori non si vedevano bene i piatti cucinati indietro alla vetrina. Faccio marcia indietro, sembravano talmente freschi e fatti bene che mi sono chiesta se fosse un ristorante indiano. Il ragazzo, assolutamente gentile ed educato mi ha quindi spiegato la differenza fra le ricette pakistane e quelle indiane. Mi ha preparato esattamente quello che ho chiesto, con estrema educazione. Ho mangiato da Dio, davvero. Ho promesso che sarei tornata per racontare, ma intanto lo faccio di qua. Io sono MOLTO noiosa, attenta e difficile da soddisfare. Nota 10 per tutto. Polo e riso, pollo e patate, falafel, tutto una delizia. Bravi e...
