Went for a massage here, was visiting Bologna for the Cosmoprof. The experience was horrible. I have worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years so it makes it even worse I assume. First they asked me if I was fine with a male masseuse and I agreed to that and he was actually really lovely and a trained masseuse. But..... during the massage the door bell rang serval times and itās VERY loud, you can literally jump every time. I do understand that Thai massage usually just have a curtain between the āroomsā but this was incredibly loud and annoying. There was no music in the place and when I arrived there was a Johnsonās babyoil standing next to the bed, Iām sorry but a place that only does massage should invest in some real massage oil.... it looks very un professional. But the incident that really made me write this review was that in the middle of the massage my masseur suddenly said awkvardely - now we have to swop masseurs !?!? And after coming in and out of the room at least 4 times I got another masseuse that had a completely different technique and wasnāt informed of which areas the first one had done. I mean this can just not happen .... first of all Iām laying there naked and Iām a first time client visiting the place. Iām appalled and I wasnāt even offered a discount after the massage which I actually think should have been for free. And my friend had a massage next to me and her masseuse went to open the door everytime someone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have had tons of massages before, more than I could count. But I have never asked to masseuse to stop because it was so terrible. These guys were unbelievably bad I had to tell her to stop. The assigned masseuse had all the pressure points wrong, making me anxious instead of relaxed. She spoke no English whatsoever and non of her colleagues did, except for the receptionist who was insanely rude, and told me its up to me if I was not satisfied and asked to abort the session. The assigned masseuse was digging her fingernails in my skin instead of pressing on the desired mascule, and had no idea what "foot" meant even though my purchase was "foot massage" session with thai massage after. Once I declared my unsatisfactory and the receptionist told me it was up to me, she insisted that I take my stuff and leave at once. Rudeness beyond comprehension, and I genuinely hope they go out of business and go bankrupt.
Edit: trust me, I dont want my skin digged by your sharp nails again. Therefore not me or any of my travel blog followers will ever set foot in your shop again. Dig your nails on someone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSadly worst massage of my life. I came here because they explicitly offer pregnancy massages. To be on the safe side, I even called and asked if my pregnancy was a problem, but they assured me that its fine. When I arrived, they acted all problematic (almost a bit annoyed) when I mentioned again that I am pregnant. The receptionist explained that the massage will be less strong than a regular full body massage, but arms, legs, feet, back, shoulders and head nevertheless treated - which was ok for me. What I received in the end was soft stroking of back, shoulders and a light head massage - under multiple layers of towels. So I actually didnt feel anything and certainly it was not relaxing when I asked for more and the lady refused because of my pregnancy. What a disappointment. If you dont feel comfortable massaging pregnant women, why do you offer it on your website?! Or why dont you at least explain on the phone when asked about the service, what is to be expected?! I would not have booked 90min of soft stroking then! Overall: What a...
