Say what you will, but I was not the biggest fan of Bologna. It was just ok to me, but I will give credit where credit is due. The city of Bologna they know how to do aperitivo like no other. We were walking around and we looked down this street and we could see that this was the hub of the city. The street was totally packed and people were sitting anywhere they could find a seat. Everyone had a glass of wine and they were enjoying a wide selection of meats and cheeses. This is exactly what I was looking for and I was so happy to find it at Salumeria Simoni. There’s a good selection of local wines by glass, beers, soft drinks and spritzes. It can get quite busy so if you’re in a group of more than 2 it could take a few minutes to get you a table, but it’s worth the wait. Service is prompt and friendly, and the waiting staff all speak...
