Horrible. I asked the waitress around 5 times about gluten free options. She advised me not to order the risotto because it contained gluten, so I ordered the gluten free pizza instead.

After waiting 30 minutes, my boyfriend (who ordered the normal Gnocchi) got his food. Nearly 1.5 hours passed, my boyfriend had long since finished eating, and I still did not get my food. He got up to ask the staff, and the waitress clearly forgot my order. On top of that, she placed an order for normal pizza with gluten, despite my boyfriend reminding her once more about the gluten free pizza. 20 more minutes go by and STILL NOTHING.

Finally, we ask a different waitress, who confirms with our original waitress that she placed an order for a normal pizza with gluten. Even so, why would it take 2 HOURS for a normal pizza?!? On top of that, the waitress still did not admit that she completely forgot my order. Furthermore, the staff looked so completely lost every time the brought food out, and at least 3-4 times they brought food to the wrong tables. You are better off going to an average tourist trap than this place.

Not sure how this place has the reviews it does. If you are celiac, I cannot in good conscience recommend a place that messes...

The pizza was really nice. But when I paid I said I wanted to sit inside I was then told to go sit upstairs. The waitress was really confused about something on my receipt, after a while of waiting she said that I hadn't paid for a service charge....I don't process the checkout, the employee does and he obviously just forgot to put it on, so then I was told that I would have to pay or have the pizza as takout... seriously? At this point I was really hungry and just needed to eat but they were holding my pizza hostage for 2€ so I decided to get my refund for water, which is also at a charge of 2€ and would have been from a tap, alot of of faff over 2€. The pizza was really good but I probably won't return over the embarrassment of being thrown out over an employees mistake. It wasn't handled well by the waitress and I felt like I wasn't welcome, so I left. This was my first time visiting...

We visited this restaurant during our holiday with my best friend and I must say that the pizzas were amazing, coffee nice, Tiramisu wasn't the best that I tried to be honest. The service was inconsistent. Our waiter Lorenzo was top notch, sympathetic, funny, he gave us a very attentive service, however we cannot say the same about the rest of the staff. Lorenzo went for his break and during those 30 minutes nobody came to us to pick up our plates even though we finished eating 25 minutes ago, nobody even stopped by even though they saw we finished and they were cleaning the table next to us. After our waiter came back from his break he took the plates and offered desserts and coffee which we wanted to order even before but nobody came. He is a real gem of the restaurant and that's the only reason why we gave a high rating. Generally nice...

A great restaurant in the heart of Bologna. To start, the ambience was really nice and there were quite a lot of tables available, since we went at around 18:50 and they had already opened. The food was fantastic and was definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The price range is definitely worth the dish you get. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the service was quite quick, the pizzas were made downstairs in the restaurant’s own pizza corner - people can come in to grab a slice of pizza with a drink too without all the formalities of dinner here. The overall experience at Regina Sofia was great and I’m very optimistic I’ll return in the near future. I definitely recommend this restaurant! On the side note, by the time we finished, there were more than 30 people on the street waiting to get a table, so the earlier you go, the better.

It used to be a must visit when we were in town, unfortunately after this last time it will no longer be. We ordered 4 pizzas and one gluten free pizza which was undercooked l, basically raw. When it was time to pay the bill, they asked us how we liked the food and we told the person, probably the owner, that the gluten free pizza was not edible and one of us had a very bad experience. The answer was: "you have to pay for it anyway" just like we were trying not to pay? We simply answered the question. Besides this person claims that he makes gluten free just as a favour and we cannot expect it to be good, as GF pizza per se is not pizza. There are better places nearby for example Fra Diavolo in piazza santo stefano. I attach pictures of the raw pizza which is now causing stomach pain to the person who ate just the half of it.
