Stopped by Venturoli dal 1954 for breakfast and went for a pistachio croissant, a bombolone, and a cappuccino. The location is really nice and the atmosphere feels cozy and elegant at the same time. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit down and take your time.

The pastries looked great, but I have to say my pistachio croissant felt a bit under-loved. The cream was mostly just in the middle, and I kind of wanted that rich pistachio flavor in every bite. Still, the overall quality was good and the bombolone was a nice treat.

What really stands out is the variety. There’s a big selection, and if you’re into sweet breakfasts, you’ll have plenty to choose from.

Una delle migliori pasticcerie di Bologna… prodotti ottimi, brioches quasi imbattibili! Ma non è possibile vedere la barista con i guanti neri umidicci toccare l’immondizia, sgombrare i tavoli, toccare tazze e vassoi sporchi e poi prendere la brioche con le mani e dartela (con la pinza davanti a lei) … quando si fa la scelta di dare la brioche con i guanti e le mani (perché immagino sia una scelta della pasticceria) si deve toccare solo ed esclusivamente le brioche, e quando si hanno le pinze, rimane, a mio parere, una scelta poco azzeccata per un locale così elegante!...

Personale sgarbato, ho chiesto gentilmente alle cameriere se una di loro poteva pulire un tavolo visto che quelli che erano liberi erano TUTTI sporchi, mi hanno risposto molto scocciate, capisco che lavorare con il pubblico possa non essere semplice, ma c'è modo e modo. Ci siamo presi in autonomia il vassoio con le cose da bere visto che era rimasto sul bancone per un po' (+ succo sbagliato), costi sopra la media per i cornetti (2 euro cornetto con crema, 2,20 cornetto con crema di pistacchio).
