Would definitely visit again!

The food was amazing. The pasta was the best Carbonara we have ever had. Perfectly balanced truffle and pork. We had Calamari to start which was to die for. And to end, a gorgeous tiramisu which was perfect.

We could not fault the food whatsoever… other than we couldn’t eat anymore!!!

However, our amazing food was sometimes delivered by Julia. We were unfamiliar with some Italian dining traditions and hoped for guidance, but were met with a blunt and judgemental attitude. This made us hyper aware to the dirty looks and comments she made to her colleagues which were directed at us when we were only trying to be polite. We wanted to make an effort to conform to traditions and a language that we were less familiar with but instead were made to feel like stupid brits.

Wanted to get away from the heat of Rome, so we went to Bracciano for the day. The trattoria was very pleasant, as we were able to sit in the shade as a cool breeze blew down the piazza. The staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. I had the spaghetti alla gricia with mint. Living in Rome, I've had many gricias, but never with mint, so I was intrigued to try it. It was wonderful! My brother and his wife had two pasta dishes with truffles. I tried a forkful or two of each and they were fantastic. Iniziamo dal fatto che sto facendo questa recensione ancora seduto al tavolo del ristorante (cosa mai fatta in vita mia ) detto questo partirei dall'antipasto di terra uno peggiore mi é capitato solamente a Sora Ines ad Ariccia che é tanto recensito come questo posto, dell'antipasto l'unica cosa salvabile erano i salumi ma questo diciamo grazie al norcino de fiducia sennò manco quello se poteva mangia , non so davvero come avete scelto quei formaggi che proponete con tutta l'alta qualità che abbiamo nel Lazio o vicino Roma ,poi passiamo ai primi due piatti di pasta ai pici con il pescato del giorno telline , ora la commensale di turno quando ho fatto notare che un piatto di pasta con telline (o con vongole) non va servito con una pasta all'uovo ai pici si é vista altamente alterata da questa affermazione, ti dirò una cosa la pasta all'uovo va sempre e dico SEMPRE con un condimento al sugo sennò la pasta non assorbe il condimento e risulterà solamente pesante senza esaltare i sapori del condimento poi ma davvero me porti un piatto de pasta con più di 200 gr di telline da sgusciare ? Ma che sto a casa mia che mi metto a sguscia una per una per sporcarmi le mani? Sono ad un ristorante (e da quanto cercate di dimostrare pure chicchettoso quindi dato che il piatto mi costa 14€ il minimo che potreste fare è sgusciarne almeno la metà non dico tutti so che é impossibile con il casino di un ristorante ma così é un piatto inaccettabile , avrei dato 5 stelle al servizio ma dopo la frase sei chef tu? Da parte della commensale per me potete pure anda a raccoglie i pomodori a 2€ l'ora .
