Good food and excellent service in this very local establishment. If definitely come again if I lived in the area. Wine reccomendations were good as well. Nice local sparkling and a local white variety I've not trued before, which has been around since Roman times. Thank you!

Loved the quiet atmosphere and the friendly staff. Food was delicious. The vegetarian burger was homemade and created with fresh vegetables. Casoncelli alla bresciana got a 10/10, and burrata served with fresh vegetables was excellent too. Highly recommended!

Nella nostra breve visita bresciana abbiamo potuto appurare la simpatia e la cordialità dei suoi abitanti, qualità che abbiamo trovato anche in questo caratteristico localino. La cucina tipica bresciana e la bellissima accoglienza ricevuta ci hanno motivato a ritornarci. Il personale è davvero attento alle diverse esigenze del cliente, cortese e gentilissimo. In particolare ci è rimasta nel cuore Barbara, simpaticissima e professionalissima che ci ha fatto subito fatto sentire a nostro agio e con la quale è un vero piacere confrontarsi e chiacchierare. Purtroppo la nostra visita bresciana volge al termine, ma se mai ci capitasse di ritornare a Brescia, non potremo fare altro che ritornarci. Intanto vi invitiamo a farci un salto! 😉

We went for lunch after reading the great reviews and was disappointed. The server did not bring us menus, so we ordered off of the short specials board (only to discover later that there was a longer menu.) Also didn't get bread (had to ask) or salad dressing makings (had to grab those ourselves.) Dishes were fine, although panzanella was bland and soggy and aqua frizzante had no friz. Granted we were trying to muddle through with our poor Italian, but was quite...

We waited over 1 hour for our food. One of our guests did not receive his food until 20 minutes after everyone else. Guests who came after us got served before us. The waiters ignored us when we asked for our food. We were then told that we would receive a discount due to the late arrival of the food of one guest - we never got a discount. We barely received an apology from any of the staff. If I could give 0 for service I would. We...

A terrific place to eat hidden in one of the narrow street of the Brescia old town. Excellent, cheap and extensive lunch menu. Be sure to brush up your Italian, but staff is relaxed, very friendly and will do their best to understand your order. Definitely put aside the English menu and order from the daily...
