We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened, but were asked to come back in 30 minutes because the chef was not there. We came back because we trusted the ratings. We ordered one appetizer, 2 primi piatti, and 1 main course. The appetizer of 8 types of traditional dishes in mini portions delighted us. It was interesting, very tasty, and rich, everything except the octopus, which was terribly tough. But when the other three dishes arrived, we were disappointed. The gnocchi with burrata had a very sour taste, or rather, the burrata was very sour, which is usually not the taste we know for that type of cheese, the tuna with some kind of crispy pistachio breading was the worst choice. We didn't like it at all, although the tuna was nicely grilled, the dominant flavor was, I guess, mustard, and everything didn't really smell good. The orecchiette was solid, but we've eaten much better in restaurants with much lower ratings. All in all, in our experience, an...

A nice spot for a date night and family night out. I was glad it was open when so many restaurants closed early due to the rain and lack of patrons. The staff greeted us with a welcoming attitude and atmosphere. Once we were seated, we were asked for our drinks order and brought bread and olive oil (I wish more restaurants in Brindisi would do this without having to being asked).

We had meatballs and a grilled seafood platter paired with a light sparkling wine. Wasn’t a fan of the meatballs but the grilled seafood platter was really nice.

Had a great conversation with the Server. He was very attentive and social.

Was able to spend time after dinner just talking without feeling rushed to...

I had an incredible dining experience at C'era una volta! The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, making me feel like I was in Italy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations.

The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was full of rich flavours and beautifully presented. I especially loved the Medaglioni di manzo ai porcini, which was absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable...

Very nice location with an excellent view to a small square in the city center. Waiter has been the nicest and guided us through the menu with loads of background information. Note of Honor goes to "pappardelle pere, guanciale e provola" which was a fusion miracle. My wife would rather push for the "Crema Catalana".
