Iku Sushi — Restaurant in Brindisi

Sinceramente sono stato una volta quindi recensirò a primo impatto e dirò la mia personale opinione. Ero ovviamente con amici quindi almeno ci siamo divertiti, ma direi di non perderci in chiacchere. Allora il lato cibo veramente di ottimo, con tanta scelta a differenza di altri piccola pecca è che non c'erano i tablet, si ovviamente non è che era così importante, ma sicuramente sarebbe stato più immediato il tutto, perché poi ogni volta dovevi vedere il menù prendere il numero scrivere le porzioni ecc. Ma a parte questo ci sta. La location carina, ma niente di che alla fine, non dava quell'ambiente di asiatico e di ristorante di sushi, io che sono stato in tanti ristoranti di sushi questo in particolare non mi ha colpito. Il servizio era veramente lento, abbiamo ordinato in tutto si è no 2/3 portate, e non è che c'era così tanta gente poi, avevano preso un paio di nigiri, qualche hosomaki, 2 carpacci di salmone e uno misto, poi un po' di sashimi e poi non mi ricordo, fatto sta che noi aspettiamo PIÙ DI UN'ORA E MEZZA e se ne escono con una scusa a dir poco indecente, cioè che in cucina c'erano stati dei problemi quindi abbiamo ordinato di nuovo tutte le cose che avevamo già ordinato in precedenza e già da qua si può capire il livello di organizzazione, arrivano le cose che avevamo ordinato dopo un'ora e intanto si erano fatte le 22:40 circa e noi che praticamente non avevamo mangiato niente perché ovviamente in compagnia di amici ci si dividono le cose no? Oppure sbaglio io? Vabè volevamo ordinare altre cose, facciamo l'ordine e l'ho diamo alla cameriera che meno male almeno lei è stata gentilissima per tutta la serata, dopo mezz'ora arriva il cameriere di prima e mentre ero in bagno ai miei amici dice in modo molto scorbutico "ragazzi sbrigatevi ad ordinare che la cucina sta per chiudere" c'è io dico no. Abbiamo aspettato per più di un'ora e mezza è normale che poi chiude, ma il punto non è che ci dovevamo sbrigare noi, ma loro che per tutto quel tempo non hanno portato niente e noi li ad aspettare il nulla, perché poi oltre tutto dopo non ci hanno portato niente e si erano fatto le 23:30 passate ormai, quindi la cucina a quel punto aveva chiuso e ce ne siamo andati veramente insoddisfatti e arrabbiati. Vabbè è stata un esperienza bruttissima a dir poco, poi il conto salatissimo ma questi sono dettagli in cui non mi voglio dilungare ulteriormente perché sennò andrei avanti all'infinito, scusate se la recensione è lunga, ma volevo raccontare RICORDO la mia esperienza personale. Sono stato anche abbastanza gentile da darvi almeno 3 stelle, per un'altra persona potevano essere benissimo 1 o 2. Spero che in qualche modo vi organizziate meglio. Detto questo vi...

A serious disappointment. We have been sitting in this restaurant since 9pm and it is 11pm and we are still waiting for food we ordered over an hour ago. Only 2/3 of our first lot of food came out and we ordered more and after an hour more of waiting we still haven’t received it. The waiters do not care one bit, one was on their phone the majority of the night and the other was relaxing at the counter. The servers asked only once about our food order and we had to ask more than once for water and drinks when we first sat down.

The food is pretty good, the sashimi is generous but the fish is cut pretty thick.

If you have three hours to waste waiting for simple dishes I would recommend this place. There are probably better sushi places in Brindisi. I might go for some pasta after this since I’m...

It seems to be run by teenagers, very inexperienced servers, young and with very limited attention span. We decided to go for menu order, not all you can eat and were served much slower than people who arrived later and had their tables full of stuff continuously. The tuna looked not very fresh. The server never came to open our beer bottle (so we put it back in the fridge). When we asked what she brought, she said wait and disappeared. It was also very expensive for leaving hungry. Maybe worth to do the all you can eat, but definitely one of our worse experience as the service and menu is concerned....
