Arrived at restaurant at 3.30 pm on Sunday, chosen restaurant specifically since it's the only one in the area that closes at 5pm not earlier. Immediately, we were informed that we can only have a starter or a main course, not both, since the kitchen was closing soon. That was fine with us. Whilst eating another couple came in and they were rushed more than us to order immediately from a much shorter list of items on the menu. Upon paying, we very discretely and politely mentioned that they should change the opening hours on Google Maps in order to avoid late comers. The lady cashier nicely said that they do need to adjust the time. We paid and left. On the way out, we hear the man, who was leading the restaurant, saying to the lady in Italian that it was pointless complaining about the time now that he did us a favour and we ate there! Well... dear Manager or whoever you are, you didn't do us any favour, we paid for our food even though the atmosphere wasn't pleasant since we weren't welcome. If you don't want customers to visit after 3 p.m., then adjust your hours, but if you accept clients, then treat them nicely! The food was decent, but the service of this particular employee was horrible to...
Read moreWe were looking forward to enjoying our last night in Brindisi and decided we’d treat ourselves. We ordered 2x ravioli, one of the ‘beef with radish and gorgonzola’ and swordfish. The bread which came out first was the best part of the meal sadly, ravioli which ultimately tasted store bought with bland burrata inside, and then the mains. My partner had the beef, which ended up being breaded pieces of tough, chewy mystery meat with radicchio (not radish) and a really overpowering gorgonzola dressing all over the plate. 2 bites and we were done. My swordfish had a lovely sauce, but ultimately tasted like frozen seafood in tinfoil. The desserts were the tiramisu and pistachio soufflé. The soufflé was a fondant, however nice, and fortunately so was the tiramisu....
Read moreQuite racist server we had. The server purposely served everyone else before us. We waited 1 hour for our starter and then another 1hr for the 1st course and another hour for our main. Even when getting the bill, we had to ask 3 times and he would just walk off doing nothing rather than to get us the bill, we had to start walking out of the restaurant for him to actually get the bill for us. So far the only bad restaurant we’ve been to in puglia. Food was very average as well. “Tuna with pistachio” had no pistachio in it. The only positive thing was big portion size. Do not recommend this place at all. Maybe it’s better if you...
