Mösl — Restaurant in Burggrafenamt - Burgraviato

I read they are able to provide glute free meals. I called for booking and I was invited to be there early, because the kitchen close at 21. I arrived in time a lady helped me and I get my rice (parboiled...). Than I saw from the card outside, they have ice cream from a gluten free brand, so I asked for affogato with deca coffee. Arrived a waiter with an affogato and a coffee beside. The affogato had a wafer immersed in. I said I cannot eat it because gluten , the waiter went and come back saying it was gf... I said I wasn't confident, at any rate I'll pay without having. He went and come back with a tall shouting man and we restarted the discussion... Shouting he said that I had to alert before...as if I hadn't done it since the first phone call, and more... I have to imagine they serve the affogato with the biscuit already immersed. He was tall and shouting I was sit as a baby at school, all around me an huge amount of people looking at the scene. It was horrible. I escaped away for paying and leave, I met the lady who helped me at my arrival she saw me crying. I told her the owner had yelled at me she said he wasn't the owner... I've not indicated the man but she was able to identify him...probably it wasn't the first time it happen. She called the real owner and both of them presented the excuses...but it was aso horrible experience...in a upper level of Turism, as Merano would like to offer, this is the example of thing that...

This very lively leafy location is certainly worth the wooded walk from downtown Merano. We visited three times during our stay and could see that it is clearly beloved by the local construction workers, families, and visitors. The pizzas are indeed huge as promised. One seems plenty for two people. Large hot rectangles of lasagna were delicious and comforting. Their generous salads are fresh and crisp. All the servers were working hard and incredibly busy- but without clear info about guests waiting to be seated, they were often pulled away to sort out the tables and reservations. Overall, a really fun and filling destination with somewhat chaotic though well...

Wir wollten ursprünglich in diesem Restaurant zu Abend essen. Wir haben 3 Gerichte samt Getränke bestellt, die Getränke kamen schnell und eines der Gerichte (Portion Nudeln) folgte ebenfalls sehr schnell. Was dann geschah lässt sich hier schwer in Worte fassen - ich versuche es trotzdem. Nach 20 Min fragten wir nach dem Verbleib der beiden fehlenden Gerichte. 10-15 Minuten später haben wir dann erneut gefragt: „Wir warten nun schon 45 Min auf unsere Pizzen“. Ein wutentbrannter Kellner lief in das Gasthaus holte den Bon und sagte forsch „es sind nur gut 30 Minuten, das kann man ja aushalten“. Unfassbar aber war. Einige Minuten später kamen die beiden Pizzen - in deren Genuss wir jedoch niemals gekommen sind. Wir sagten lediglich, das wir gerne zusammen gegessen hätten, signalisierten aber auch, dass nun alles in Ordnung sei. Alles freundlich und ohne viel tara. Der Kellner (wie sich nach einer Internet Recherche herausstellte, sogar die Person, die im Impressum hinterlegt ist) erlitt daraufhin einen menschlichen Ausfall und klinkte komplett aus. Er riss die beiden Pizzen (eines vor unserer 7 jährigen Tochter) vom Tisch und sagte: „wissen sie was, dann gehen sie halt“. Wir wurden als unliebsame Gäste dem Laden verwiesen, legten 20 Euro auf den Tisch und verließen den Gasthof. Im Apartment gab es dann nur Kekse und Pfirsich.

Es freut uns, dass der Laden so gut besucht ist und scheinbar gut läuft. Das sollte jedoch kein Grund sein, so mit Gästen umzugehen. Solch ein unverschämtes Verhalten haben wir bisher nirgends erlebt. Jeder kann mal einen schlechten Tag haben, zu viel zu tun haben oder überfordert sein. An diesem Abend waren es nicht nur die genannten Faktoren, sondern auch eine menschliche Charaktereigenschaft, die man so nur selten erlebt. Einem kleinen Kind das Essen wegzureißen und in solch einer sinnlosen und respektlosen Art zu handeln ist unverständlich.

Abschließend zum Essen: Die Pizzen sahen durchaus gut aus und wir hätten diese gerne gegessen. Die Nudeln waren mittelprächtig ...
