A delightful experience at La Madrice
We recently had the pleasure to experience a fine gourmet stay at La Madrice restaurant. From the inviting atmosphere to the exceptional quality of the food, accompanied by top-notch service, it will be definitely a memorable evening.
Atmosphere: The moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a warm and cozy ambiance. The decor was tastefully done with elegant touches that reflected the essence of Italy. Soft lighting and comfortable seating added to the inviting atmosphere making it a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family.
Quality: The quality of the food was perfect. Every dish was expertly crafted using fresh and authentic ingredients. Each bite was a burst of flavors. The grilled veggies and the traditional pasta with porcini and grano were delicious. The presentation was equally impressive with beautiful plating that enhanced the overall dining experience. My better half had the yum swordfish carpaccio and the tasty beetnut ravioli - except they didn’t named it ravioli’s. The recommended Nero d‘Avola suited the pasta very nicely.
Service: The service provided by the staff was impeccable. From the beginning until the end of our meals the waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were well-versed in the menu and offered great recommendations. The service was prompt - we never had to wait long for food or drinks. The staff's professionalism and genuine hospitality added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
In summary our experience at Ristorante La Madrice was wonderful. The outstanding quality of the food, prepared with fresh ingredients and skillful techniques left us craving more. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian...

Read moreHaving visited La Madrice during our holiday last year, we decided to revisit this summer and found that it had gone from strength to strength - indeed, we came back with different friends and family three times this year and everyone loved it each time! The restaurant is situated in a lovely quiet square of an otherwise buzzing seaside town, the hosts are friendly and warm, the service attentive and professional and, of course, the food is simply excellent - great fresh produce, prepared in a more modern way than usually found in the area, but no less delicious for it! Especially loved the fried octopus in gorgonzola cream (who would have thought that combination would work?!), the crispy fried calamari or the freshly baked fish-of-the-day (classics), the punchy but delicious sea urchin spaghettoni or the black squid linguine. The carnivores among us were also similarly pleased with their porcini sauce beef steak, excellently cooked. All accompanied with good and affordable wine recommendations from small local producers. In short, well worth the visit if you are staying in...
