Victus — Restaurant in Castellammare del Golfo

Stopped by for a quick lunch break on our way to the airport. My wife had a Focaccia and I ordered a portion of "Busiate alla Norma". I've been visiting Sicily for the last 5 years and this was perhaps one of the best version of pasta alla norma I've ever had. Pretty sad Pizza to be honest, the quality is low and covered with olive oil and way too much cheese. We had to send it back to remove the oil it was extremely bitter. I don’t usually do reviews of places I don’t recommend but since the location of this place is in a prime location it really needs to be better. I hope they improve! Great for an aperitif after a whole day on the beach .

The staff was very accommodating , clearing tables promptly when dishes were finished ( not all restaurants do this and it is highly appreciated).

The waiter was very proactive in organising a nice platter of savouries pizzas, bruschettas and panelle.

Nice laid back spot...
