Ristorante il 13 — Restaurant in Castiglione della Pescaia

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place in the rain. The restaurant was full with no bar to wait at so the chef told us to wait outside - in the rain!!! We were desperate so waited (for about 10-15 mins). The service was slow and the food mediocre. My GF is vegetarian but she thought it was fine. I ordered the dish of the day - supposedly fresh fish. It wasn't particularly tasty and the accompanying vegetables were quite rubbery. My first course was tortellini with ricotta - again a rubbery texture. The highlight was the dessert wine - a Muffato which we were given for free. We had 4 glasses of wine and three courses (shared dessert) and the bill came to €82. Not great value. nice restaurant located in the city center. The restaurant offers many tables installed in an inside garden, offering a nice dinner outside detached from the people walking in the city.

The restaurant has a good choice of meat and fish dishes so you will find something to your taste for sure.

Pessima esperienza - Mai più!

La nostra cena in questo ristorante è stata un incubo. Eravamo in un tavolo in terrazza. Durante l’antipasto ma soprattutto arrivati ai primi, siamo stati assaliti da vespe, il che ha reso impossibile godersi il pasto. Ma non è tanto la presenza di vespe che sicuramente non è colpa del locale, ma è il fatto che quando abbiamo chiesto gentilmente di cambiare tavolo per evitare l'infestazione, i camerieri hanno mostrato un atteggiamento ostile e del tutto poco collaborativo. Invece di aiutarci, ci hanno risposto con fastidio, dicendo che non dovevamo fare scene e disturbare gli altri clienti. Questa risposta è stata non solo inadeguata, ma anche profondamente irrispettosa. Non è certo colpa nostra se il ristorante non è in grado di gestire una situazione del genere. Dopo una lunga insistenza, ci hanno finalmente permesso di cambiare tavolo, ma solo per essere trattati con un'aria di sgarbo e con la sensazione di essere noi i colpevoli. L'intera esperienza è stata estremamente spiacevole e ha rovinato completamente la nostra serata.

In sintesi, se vi interessa un servizio cliente decente e una gestione professionale delle emergenze, vi consiglio vivamente di evitare questo posto. Non metterò mai...
