Perhaps I had too high expectations — but I couldn’t hide my disappointment. The mantis shrimp crudo was particularly underwhelming. The pear paddles used as garnish, resting on finely chopped capers underneath, were all mushy, offering no contrast in texture. Although the menu described a caper pesto, what I received seemed to be missing it — instead, the dish was swimming in a watery green liquid and oil that lacked depth of flavor and felt soggy in the mouth.
The mullet crudo served with leche de tigre was more acceptable, but still bland and lacking any real kick. The most disappointing dish, however, was the cuttlefish with bone marrow. I had ordered it after seeing the intriguing combination on Instagram, but when the dish arrived, there was no visible cuttlefish at all — it seemed to have been ground up and incorporated into something else. The asparagus, which was supposedly included, had no presence whatsoever — I wouldn’t have even known it was there. At €22, the price felt completely unjustified. Worse, the bone marrow was served cold, causing the fat to congeal unpleasantly. It felt like something had gone wrong in the preparation process.
The mashed cod dish was passable, but nothing memorable. Ironically, the best part of the meal was the €65 bottle of wine and the anchovy butter with bread that was served at the beginning.
Maybe my expectations were too high, but this experience was disappointing on a level that can’t simply be explained by a changed menu or a different chef. It ended up ruining what was supposed to be the perfect last day of my...

Read moreMe and my partner are a big fan of fine dining and this was literally the most special dining experience we’ve ever had. We had the seven course tasting menu and some of these dishes genuinely brought a tear to my eye. You can tell everyone in this establishment cares deeply about the business and believes in what they create. They let us in early and recommended us some of the best white wine I’ve ever had in my life. The graciousness of the service elevated the deeply incredible dishes. I know I’m raving to the point that this probably doesn’t even sound like a real review but I PROMISE it was just that magical of an experience. Genuinely worried that this meal was so good that it will ruin the rest of our meals on our trip...
