I asked for a drink with no grapefruit or blood orange because I'm allergic. I explained it to the waiter. The second waiter brought out my drink where a huge blood orange was sticking out of it. When I refused the drink and explained again that I cannot have it a third guy came out and asked why I don't want it. I had to explain 3 times that I'm allergic to these fruit. Later they brought out a different cocktail which was awful, the flavour combination was just ridiculous. The tiramisu was plain. The service was terrible, lots of waiters just walking around, staring into your soul and bumping into our chair.

When we asked for the bill. We waited way too long then out of nowhere a second waiter showed up with some sweet snacks. We told him we didn't ask for that and we just want pay and leave. He still tried to convince us to eat it. We also saw on the bill an item for 4€. We asked the waitress, she looked confused didn't know what that item was. 3 other guys came out and started to explain that it's for the service and in Italy it is mandatory. Well for us it was suspicious because no other bill had this item in the other restaurants. Anyways, I do not...

I'm not saying g anything bad about Pizzeria Coppola. They did absolutely nothing wrong. It just didn't have that "Wow" factor compared to other places I have visited in the area.

The atmosphere was beautiful, inviting, and very clean.

As usual, I showed up shortly after opening, so the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff was polite and attentive.

The food was good. The lasagna had a good. There was definitely effort in preparing the meal. The middle of the lasagna was as hot as I would have liked, but that is an issue at a lot of places. The lady next to me got a pizza, and it looked great.

I'm positive I will be back for another dinner because the menu had a ton of really...

This place recommended to me so I wanted to give it a try, but I must say I was not impressed really, don’t know how it get so many high points.

The pizza was good. The wine was overpriced, it was 8€ for a glass. The desert was on the house, so that was sweet. But the coperto was 2,50€, also overpriced thinking that it is 1,50€ in most places in Sicily.

The toilet was dirty, thinking of the coperto price. Could be much better if you get these reviews and prices.

Also the service was eh, the waiter had a gum in his mouth which he wouldn’t hide.

The atmosphere was kind of nice but they would change the music channel very often.

I paid...

Amazing venue, incredible atmosphere and food. Great value and friendly service, popular with tourists and locals. We had the most amazing night here that we had to come back the next night... And we would never normally do that! We were just super intrigued by the buratta and pistachio pizza that the next door table were ordering that we had to try it for ourselves! Definitely go here, you won't be disappointed. The carbonara was also to die for! And the wine, cocktails and digestif were all super delicious.

One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. No kidding. You must get the artichoke with pistachio starter. Make sure you try a fried pizza while you are in Catania, and this place makes a great one. A wide selection of beers on tap and in bottles. (Of course they carry a local Sicilian microbrew, ‘24 Baroni’). Just the right amount of both attention and being left alone to enjoy my meal. If I didn’t already have a group dinner planned for tomorrow evening, I would eat here again.
