Tourist place for turning tables. Disappointing experience. Waiter was so bored and unhappy, everyone busy, chaos, we couldn't enjoy our dinners. The tables are so crammed together, like 30cm in between, you can barely walk between them, waiter would always hit my chair while serving other tables. Reservations are just a joke, we had to wait for a table to free up. Now, the food: caprese with poor quality mozzarella and some average tomatoes thrown on the plate. No salt, no pepper, no olive oil, we had to ask for it. Antipasti had frozen fish, not "catch of the day" things, bland, no flavor. Horse meatball, biggest disappointment, dry and flavorless, I could feel only the taste of the char, burnt taste. Second course came before they took the plates from the appetizers... omg, so much chaos. And while there was so little space to navigate between tables, they were still allowing indians to sell flowers, and street musicians to disturb us. While we were there, for like 1h and a half... the people changed around us so fast, 30-40 min and that's it, neeext! This is not a place to enjoy a nice quiet dinner with lovely atmosphere, be treated nicely and leave with great memories. Nobody asks you if you want something else. WE asked for more bread, or more water or more wine, WE asked for desserts. Nobody offered coffee or digestivo. Ok ok ok, you had your food, now pay and leave already, I have people waiting, ciaaaaoooo!!!! This is a tourist place, with average food and extremely...

Read moreI came here hoping for a good meal and, to be fair, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience.
I waited a bit for a table, which was acceptable, but once a waiter finally seated me, a woman who seemed to be the owner told me to move to another table. After a brief discussion between them, the waiter apologised and told me to go back to the original table. At that point I was already irritated.
A different waiter then asked what I wanted to drink, not realising I hadn’t even been given a menu. Only after noticing did he bring me one.
The starter arrived and while I was still eating it, another waiter brought out my main course and left it on the table when I said I wasn’t finished. I had to point it out to yet another waiter, who at least apologised, took the dish back to the kitchen, and served it again when I’d finished the starter.
At the end they offered me a free coffee and €2 off the bill to make up for it, but it didn’t change the overall experience.
In summary: excellent food, but the service was a mess from start to finish. I don’t recommend this place, which is a shame because the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing — the staff and...
