We came on this place coincidentally as the place we wanted to go was full. The overall experience was okay, very attractive seating and the waiters were nice. The waiting time was not long in our case, as some other reviewers have stated.

The pros: the fish was delicious. We got snapper encrusted in salt. It is my favourite fish and did not disappoint. The wine we chose was also very good. I didn't order a starter or first course and got a free bruschetta.

We also got free iced lemon drink at the end.

The Cons: the reason it gets two stars is due to the carbonara. Unfortunately, it was literally pasta with scrambled eggs and ham (definitely NOT guanciale). We did not taste any cheese whatsoever. After eating half we thought maybe this is carbonara the Sicilian way, however we consulted a few people and it absolutely is not. A few small cons: we got the carbonara before the wine. We had to ask for and ice bucket for the wine. We didn't get to try the wine before it was poured. We also got the feeling that the (head?) Waiter was a bit rude to the other staff, we noticed a few rude comments and an agressive attitude. However towards us everyone was very nice.

Conclusion: for fish it's a decent place (but not cheap 68 Euros for the snapper - with complimentary grilled vegetables). For pasta, absolutely not the place you want to go...

My friends and I came here because the stuffed pastas looked interesting. I helped order and the waiter spoke to us in English, so I ordered in English. I pointed and spoke, first, at the Scrigni, then said, "Bauletti" as I pointed at the swordfish and lime pasta name. Later, we received the pastas and I became sceptical that we had gotten the fish and lime, so I asked if it was the fish and lime pasta. The waitress asked the waiter who served us and he just said "it's bauletti". Not realising there were 2 bauletti options, I thought I had made a mistake when ordering but only after believing that and finishing the pasta did I realise that there was another bauletti with ricotta and pistachio, which we didn't want, but received. We specifically wanted the fish and lime, so I was not happy that they got our order wrong, but then I was led to believe I had made the wrong order. They also didn't even clarify when we asked, so I think they made several mistakes. Furthermore, they never served bread, which I saw ready inside. We really didn't enjoy the pasta that they had given us instead of the fish pasta, especially since we felt the need to force ourselves to finish it if I had gotten the order wrong myself, so it was...

I was walking in the street with my friend when Nino invited us in his restaurant. With no expectations at the start, I was baffled by the experience . First of all , Nino seated us and was really helpful. He shared with us what are the specialities, showed the different type of fish and suggest the drinks to take for each dish . My starter was  and it was so tasty and fresh. The main dishes were all containing fish and as a personal opinion will be stupid to go for something else than fish when you are a hundreds of meter away from it . Once again, super Nino was here to suggest the right drink which would suit the dinner from the start to the end . To sum up , an amazing experience at this experience, but a wonderful discovery to meet Nino , who's there from the start to help you choose what to eat and drink. By the way , did I mention that Nino do speak several languages ? I know right...

We came across Street 54 on a Saturday afternoon, on the hunt for a late lunch during siesta. We were warmly welcomed by the team and took a table outside. The food options were vast and certainly something for all. They specialise in fish but if that’s not for you, don’t worry. They have plenty of meat and vegetarian options. We opted for the charcuterie (meat platter) and ragu. Both were exceptional. They have an extensive wine menu which were a bit on the pricey side, though we did find a couple of options around the €20 mark. Top quality too. We usually go for a red but in the heat of the moment we went wild with a white. Delicious. I couldn’t fault a thing. It was exactly what we needed before a flight home.
