We stayed in many Michelin Star restaurants and the level is absolutely great.

High quality. Special and different tastes were combined.

We had the fried egg and the caprese as a starter and the pasta as main course. Amazing! And this to an absolutely fair price. Round about 20€ per starter and primi.

Also the wine selection is over the top. From local wine to international is everything available.

Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante in quattro. Il cibo è buono e ben cucinato però è stato servito freddo. La mia parmigiana non era nemmeno tiepida e il brasato idem: nemmeno tiepido. Anche i piatti sui quali era adagiato il cibo infatti erano freddi. Quando lo abbiamo fatto presente, il gestore anziché scusarsi ci ha detto "no, non è possibile, il brasato era appena uscito dalla pentola". Inoltre, siccome la mia sedia era occupata dalla borsetta con dentro la mia chihuahua, (menzionando che sarebbe rimasta sempre dentro alla borsetta) ho chiesto una sedia aggiuntiva. Anziché darmi una sedia normale uguale a tutte le altre, mi hanno portato una sedia dura presa nello sgabuzzino. Io mi ci sono seduta e ho fatto finta di nulla. Per tutta la sera sono stata scomoda, senza che loro avessero avuto la delicatezza di dirmi "signora, le diamo una sedia come tutte le altre". Il ristorante era vuoto! C'erano tantissime sedie disponibili! Quindi, da parte loro, zero volontà di far sentire il cliente a proprio agio. Se ci viene chiesto com'era il cibo, noi diciamo che era freddo. Loro dovrebbero scusarsi, e non dire "no. non è vero". Alcuni amici ci avevano detto che l'attitudine dei gestori era pessima. E io non posso fare altro che confermarlo, a mia volta. Infatti, in un ristorante dove si mangia bene, come questo, come è possibile che il sabato sera ci siano solo 8 coperti e tutto il resto del ristorante vuoto? Vuol dire che le voci che girano sulla loro attitudine sono vere, e noi purtroppo le abbiamo provate sulla nostra pelle. Parlando dei prezzi, le porzioni sono piccole per il prezzo a cui vengono vendute: 28 Euro la parmigiana (servita fredda) e 32 Euro il carciofo che è in carta come secondo piatto, ma in realtà non vale nemmeno come antipasto: in pratica: un carciofo di numero 32 Euro. Una follia! Altra cosa: le focaccine di pane erano molto dure. Lo abbiamo fatto presente ma ancora una volta ci hanno detto che non era vero. Insomma: siamo passati noi per matti! Quality in Cernobbio

My wife and I stayed at Villa d'Este for a week , and after several suggestions from the consierge (which we didn't like) we decided to choose our restaurant for dinner by ourselves. We relied on TripAdvisor and we were impressed with this restaurant for the excellent reviews, and for the proximity to our hotel on foot, and in fact it was a great choice! We had a great time, all the dishes were an explosion of flavors and also the really good prices, very honest, especially when compared to what we spent in our hotel to eat with an average level.
