La Nuova pergola — Restaurant in Cernobbio

You cannot say food was bad, but it wasn’t something special, definitely not something worth the money you spend on it. We ordered the meat menu for two, which costs 33euro per person. As entree you get a plate of salami and Italian ham, and 3 cheeses, some thing you can buy directly from lidl across street, not top quality. The meet was okish. It was grilled over hotstone, i had much better grilled meat for lower price, even in Switzerland. So over priced. For dessert, also a lemon sorbet. Service is good and fast, people are friendly. However, they didn't give me the receipt maybe I am foreigner and spoke Italian not well. My mother in law likes the pizza here, so I give it a try. I and my husband (Italian) both don't like it. The tomato sauce is a bit too sweet and it make the pizza tasted sweet and salty . Cheese is very few, so it is a pizza without flavour actually. Il cibo è PAZZESCO, davvero davvero buonissimo! Abbiamo preso le tagliatelle ai porcini, quelle ai mirtilli con sugo di cinghiale e quelle agli spinaci con scampi - si sente che la pasta è proprio fresca e i condimenti sono molto ben amalgamati ed equilibrati come gusto Anche i dolci erano molto buoni

Purtroppo non ho potuto dare 5 stelle perché quando abbiamo ordinato il cameriere ci ha fatto notare che avevamo ordinato tre piatti diversi, dicendo che il cuoco non sarebbe stato contento e poi ripetendo, prima di andare, che se non fosse uscito dalla cucina per un po’ sapevamo che era perché il cuoco si era arrabbiato, però sinceramente abbiamo gusti diversi e non volevamo prendere tutti la stessa cosa, anche per assaggiare cose diverse. Poi hanno portato la nostra acqua al tavolo di fianco al nostro per sbaglio (non avevano ancora ordinato) e dopo qualche minuto sono andati a portargliela via e l’hanno data a noi, il che ci è sembrato un po’ strano. So che probabilmente sono delle sviste che sono capitate solo oggi, perché il resto del servizio è andato davvero bene, però volevo giustificare la stella in meno. Sono al corrente che era Sabato a mezzogiorno e probabilmente erano molto occupati
