Bar Annunziata - Ristorante La Torretta — Restaurant in Cetara

Not sure where to start from tbh... Sat down and after 20 min the waitress came over to take order....shame we nevere received the menu in the first place.... Ordered food and while we were chosing the wines another 20 min went along...food on the table, no wine ordered yet 😂 Decent starters, then the drama unfolded. Two sides of lettuce turned up totally dead, killed by the heat, we sent them back as the waiter commented "this is the salad we have (in Neopolitan dialect). Well done. We had 4 "Fritture miste" to share within 9 of us. The "alici" had clearly been badly preserved throughout the day, they stank !!! While pointed out to the waitress, she totally shut down with an "impossible! We have a fishing boat" Not sure what the point is here, as the fish might have been out of the fridge for hours even if it was freshly caught in the morning...anyway...4 people ended up on the toilet all following day. Shame that they are so full of themselves, thanks to a lovely location perhaps. Clearily have a long way to go in customer service. The waitress was apologetic but we had no follow up by any manager. At the moment of paying, while making a point with the owner, we even had been told that perhaps we never had fresh fish in our life....ahahahaha....to a bunch of over 50's....jeez, they took us as tourists while we all live around the corner 🤦 Good luck and see you never again.

location da sogno, organizzazione da rivedere. Avevo prenotato con largo anticipo due lettini e un ombrellone, assicurandomi il passaggio barca con partenza dal molo di Cetara, e chiedendo conferma del prezzo, 25 euro. La mattina del nostro arrivo chiamo per avvisare del nostro ritardo, mi confermano la prenotazione e soprattutto il passaggio barca. Arriviamo, comincio a chiamare per chiedere la barca, non mi risponde nessuno. Chiamo e richiamo, ormai sto sotto al sole ad aspettare da venti minuti, decidiamo di tornare indietro e di arrivare alla spiaggia a piedi. Lì ci dicono che la barca è rotta ( e si deve essere rotta negli ultimi trenta minuti, guarda tu che sfiga oh...). Andiamo a pagare, trenta euro: ma come, non erano 25? no no, trenta. E lo scontrino? il ragazzo dietro al bancone non deve avermi sentito... Il bagnino ci conduce alla nostra postazione, e dopo dieci minuti ecco arrivare altri avventori, praticamente in braccio a noi, nessun rispetto delle distanze di sicurezza (ma anche senza covid sarebbe assurdo mettere i lettini di estranei letteralmente attaccati tra loro, ma che modi sono?), vado a far presente il disagio, anche considerato il fatto che ho prenotato diversi giorni prima e che ci sono diverse postazioni vuote e ben isolate come il buon senso e la decenza richiedono, e per fortuna ci spostano. facciamo un bagno, chiedo per la doccia e mi comunicano che anche quella fredda è a pagamento (eppure i servizi basilari sono garantiti per legge). Chiedo di andare in bagno, ma è rotto, vado a quello del ristorante. Si fanno le 17, il sole va via, purtroppo bagni e spogliatoio sono già chiusi, per fortuna ci aprono almeno il bagno delle donne ed uno spogliatoio. Ora, passi per aver dimenticato di aggiornarci sullo stato della barca (avremmo evitato di aspettare al sole), passi pure per il rincaro (comunque scorretto), ma non ci siamo proprio, dopo tante scale e prima di tante scale non avere nemmeno la possibilità di rinfrescarsi un minimo, ma non scherziamo. Quindi ripeto, location bella, ma il servizio non è minimamente all'altezza, la doccia fredda deve essere gratis, per quei soldi mi rispondi a telefono e mi vieni a prendere pure col pedalò, il bagno e lo spogliatoio me li fai trovare aperti fino a chiusura, e ovviamente mi fai lo scontrino, per lettini e ombrelloni giustamente distanziati. What is great little find La Torretta was. The weather may have been dull but the staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. The food was amongst the best we have had in our month in Italy (if not the best). We had the Pacchero Pasta with Tuna which was delicious - lovely flavours as pasta in Italy is. Secondi we had the Al Forno with Snapper - it was to die for. Moist and tasty with perfect jus from the potato, tomato, olive and capers. All topped off with a nice bottle of wine. PS - The path down from the Tower (La Torretta in Italian) was actually quite easy and not steep. They also offer a free (according to our Hotel Reception) boat service from...
