The best meal we’ve had in Italy! I know this statement is common for Google Reviews, but I swear I’m telling the truth.

We stumbled in mid-day and Christian and Giovanni treated us to an inspiring meal of thoughtfully cooked local seafood. Christian rattled off a list of daily specials and we settled on a clam pasta and salt crusted whole Orata (sea bream).

The clam pasta was delicate and refreshing with perfectly al dente noodles. The sea bream was tender and flakey, with Giovanni cracking the salt crust and surgically filleting the steaming fish.

They taught us about the local ingredients and offered us the perfect wine pairing (I left with an extra bottle). We ended the meal with sorbet, dessert liquor, and a shot of espresso.

Three weeks in southern Italy traveled from Rome all aver the Salento region and up the Amalfi coast. Officially the BEST pasta we had! The entire meal and experience from food to service to atmosphere was one that I’ll remember for a lifetime! We were treated like family despite our language barrier. Every course was delicious and dialed in with fresh, local ingredients and depth of flavor - it’s a testament to Christian’s skills as a chef and business owner! He and our server, Giovanni were two of the most kind and thoughtful people we had the pleasure of meeting in our travels. Delusione. Ristorante dall'aspetto invitante, ma il servizio non rispecchia per niente l'ambiente. Eravamo in 8 a Cena e abbiamo consumato la cena in 8 momenti diversi. Tra il primo dei primi piatti serviti e l'ultimo, sono passati 40 minuti, inconcepibile!! Considerando servizio e menù, il conto ci è sembrato troppo salato, così come gli spaghetti e il risotto ai frutti di mare, per me immangiabili. Buoni i ravioli, meno male, visto che sono costati 4 euro a raviolo almeno erano di buona qualità. Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante tramite internet, ma con nostro sommo dispiacere, nel menù non abbiamo trovato gli stessi piatti che vengono presentati sulla pagina web e per i quali avevamo deciso di fermarci in questo locale! In Puglia esistono molti ristoranti dove si mangia molto meglio e si spende molto molto meno. Rapporto qualità/prezzo deludente.

Dalla vostra risposta si denota la mancanza di professionalità, visto che ho sollevato le stesse critiche di persona e dopo esservi scusati, avete addotto la scusa che avevate un dipendente assente causa vaccino covid. La critica era indirizzata non all'attesa in sé, ma al fatto che se si va al ristorante a cena in 8 si gradisce cenare tutti insieme e non in 8 momenti diversi. Abbiamo mangiato tutti l'antipasto e abbiamo ordinato tutti un piatto, ma dal primo commensale all'ultimo sono trascorsi 40 minuti! Non travisi le mie parole per cortesia. Poi che abbiamo fatto richieste assurde mi sembra proprio esagerato! Tra l'altro non ci avete neanche accontentati, abbiamo chiesto degli spaghetti allo scoglio e ci avete portato dei pici ai frutti di mare, per giunta salatissimi!!
