Comfortable hotel however with extremely arrogant staff who is not excepting their failures!
Our stay was for 2 nights in December 2022, the rooms are comfortable and fully compliant with a description provided upon booking. However, some services are expected to be at a higher level as hotel presents itself as a 4*. The first to point out is the presence of the spiders in both bathroom and bedroom! Once we have informed the staff about this we were told that this is the nature and they can not do anything about their presence, I would like to concentrate your attention once again to the fact that it’s a 4 star hotel! The manager has never showed up upon our request. After complaining we were offered a bottle of a Prosecco that was refused as it can not cover “creatures of nature” in the bed. We requested the management of the hotel to review the case and revert with an official response, expectation was to get at least the price reduced or offer some extra services for the next stays… Nothing relevant we have received as well via email. Furthermore, doors in the bathroom were not fully closing so water was liking out.. leaving the floor slightly wet. Finally, concerning the breakfast, even though the hotel has quite a variety including oysters to offer, squeezed orange juice, etc. nevertheless, the omelette that we have ordered was not cooked, tastes might be different, however not cooked egg is always a question mark, we didn’t finish the plate. Overall expectations were higher in comparison to extremely unfriendly staff at the reception that was not willing even to switch to English and after speaking Italian to my friend she continued talking in Italian with me (I’m not an Italian) because my friend knew the language. Very unfriendly, not helpful and...
Read moreI absolutely loved everything about this place! It is set in such an idylic location, with tremendous views everywhere you look. It felt small and uncrowded but still with multiple options for meals or shopping.||We were a group of five. My husband and I shared a two-floor room with a loft with our 21 yo son. He had a nice big space downstairs with his own half-bath and a little balcony and great views. Upstairs, we have a wonderful skylight over our bed, a great bathroom with a fantastic shower. Our older son and his wife stayed a few hours down in a single room that was also lovely with a nice bath and great views.||We thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. Two of us got massages, everyone spent time in the outdoor hottub with the fabulous view of the mountains, and loved the indoor pool with all its jets and again a fabulous pool. The various relaxation rooms were also quite nice and we thoroughly enjoyed.||We never ate dinner in the restaurant but we had breakfast every morning and thoroughly appreciated the staff and the hospitality. There were plenty of food options for everyone, the squeezed-to-order orange juice was wonderful, andwe liked the views and the people watching from the breakfast room.||We also enjoyed the cocktail bar, both drinking in the lovely lounge and sitting outside in the lawn chairs. ||The lawn area is spectacular -- loads of comfy seats, sun and shade options, incredible views. And right next door a fantastic playground for those with kids (or kids-at-heart).||One night there was live music on the patio outside the bar, they were great.||And most of all, we found the staff to all be welcoming, professional, helpful, and made sure our stay was the best it could be.||I really really really hope we'll be able to go back...
Read moreGorgeous hotel in a small Italian alpine village. Several couples stayed at this hotel in September while on a group hiking trip. The hotel was lovely, rooms were all different with some modern and some more of an old fashioned design. Housekeeping was excellent and so fast in the morning . The outdoor hot tub was great , massage in the spa excellent and having drinks on the lawn in the late afternoon while the temperatures were still in the high 20's was wonderful. The bar had fantastic entertainment the second night we were there, hard to leave to go and have dinner. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly . ||We loved staying here and I would recommend . The only disconnect was the "bag lunch" we purchased to go on our hikes each day- absolutely terrible . It was literally a hard bun with meat or cheese, or cheese , or lettuce cheese etc, no spread of any kind. Considering this is a hotel in a hiking area this should be much better. Also, the hotel was very busy in the morning and at breakfast it was difficult to find a waiter to order our...
