What a little gem! Friends asked me to join them for dinner, and the story begins... No real story, the place was excellent. At first, it's a bit odd because the location requires you to buzz at the entrance. They quickly do. As I arrived, they were very pleasant in greeting. As I was waiting, I tried to ask the young lady a question and she wasn't very pleasant. As friends arrived, there was a couple of other ladies that had initially greeted me who were very accommodating and explained that there was a function and so unless we ordered within a certain amount of time the menu would be limited. We followed directions and ordered. They sat us in the patio where the weather felt beautiful along with the view. Veruska was super patient in guiding us through the menu and recommendations. What a star she is! Her peculiar descriptions rang through items and landed us with deliciousness. I'd suggest dishes like the Spaghetti, Risotto with prawns, and the Veal and mashed potatoes (of course, I'm simplifying it all). All were excellently prepared and enjoyable to look at. We also tried desserts like the Apple tarte, the Chocolate Soufflé, and the Tiramasu. Again... fantastic! My apologies for the lack of food pictures, but as with many great places, the conversation and ambiance has you forget about phones and pictures. We just enjoyed a great experience. My husband and I visited a few weeks ago and were the first to be seated outdoors on the terrace on a chilly evening. The owner/manager who seated us was hesitant at first due to the cold but she accommodated our request and was kind, friendly and knew the menu extremely well. She recommended a very lovely wine and delicious food. The octopus was truly the best I have ever had- wonderful flavor and texture and the cream of cannellini bean sauce had such a nice buttery texture and earthy flavor. The spaghetti alla chitarra was beautiful, the cod was fresh and delicious - perfectly prepared, the beetroot-marinated salmon with tzatziki was such a fun refreshing dish, the steak with roasted chestnuts and strawberries was divine - that sauce had such a nice balance of flavor, and the risotto with prawns was exquisite - we can't stop thinking about it all. From the moment we arrived, the view was absolutely breathtaking, a perfect start to what became our most memorable dining experience in Italy. The food was nothing short of exquisite, crafted with such finesse that it elevated the evening to first-class.

Despite challenges like gusty winds, group bookings, and a few demanding patrons, the front-of-house team and especially the lady who served as maître d’, handled it all with poise and grace. Her “no problem” attitude and attentive hosting made us feel truly special. It’s rare to encounter such professionalism and attention to detail, from table changes and providing blankets through to managing the front of house team to ensure guests needs were accommodated.
