We had an incredible three hour boat ride with Claudio. He took us all around Lake Como and Bellagio- sprinkling in little pieces of history throughout. For any American coming to Lake Como or Bellagio this would be a great way to get a history lesson on Italy and the surrounding areas. He knew exactly where to drop us off so we could exit the boat and get a quick lunch. We went at the end of December and we’re provided warm blankets to enjoy our boat ride that much more. Also, our boat was heated, which was great for all of us. My mother is 75 years old and recently had a knee surgery. Going into it we were worried about her entering and exiting the boat, but that was no issue at all. Claudio made sure to tie the boat up each time and safely exit and enter the boat for my mother. I was overwhelmed by the choices for boat tours in Lake Como and just happened to find this site which had a "tailor your own tour" option and a contact us form. Claudio contacted me back quickly and I was able to arrange a 2 hour private tour for 2 easily with them. We were put in touch with our guide Cecilia and our driver Marco and arranged to be picked up near our hotel in Tremezzo which was very convenient. Cecilia arranged for us to see beautiful sites around the lake and took on board the places we wanted to visit as well. The sun came out towards the end so we could relax on the back of the boat - after taking many photos (with some help from Marco and Cecilia's photography skills) for the Gram of course.
