Ristorante Pizzeria El Sombrero — Restaurant in Como

Staff that was friendly at first changed thier mood after we asked if we could change table to a corner one so we could handle our children more easily. That was just the beginning. We asked for a simple meal (rice with tomato sauce for the baby, and explained that she has allergy to milk and eggs. We even made sure that we do these special instructions in Italian as well. First they brought us pasta - and after we complained they brought us rice. It was really delicious but we weren't suspicious about extra ingredients. An hour later we were waiting for an ambulance as baby started to lose her breath. Thankfully the doctors did their job well and baby was smiling and playing again within an hour. Don't get me wrong. The food quality is not bad. Pizza is massive and average taste. Soup was above average. Rice was more delicious than it should be with just tomato sauce. This was the best food we ate in Como. We traveled all around Italy and when I think of Italian pizza I think of this place. It was so beyond delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is hungry.
